IMO, Pep will play 7 squad players plus 4 starters from Real/Palace, the latter playing 45-60 minutes and then being replaced by other starters.

Something like: Trafford, Lewis, Khusa, Ake, Bobb, Savinho, maybe Mukasa (all playing 80-90 minutes) + Reijnders, Foden, Cherki, Nunes, Gvardiol, O'Reilly, Bernardo..., the latter playing 45 minutes or so.

So, that was about right.

Didn't expect Gonzalez to start. Maybe this means Rodri will come back soon...

Rather Nico and Nico be rested tbh. Those two must be close to the red and if they go down we're much less effective.

I'd have put nico second in terms of players to rest tonight just behind Haaland. Crazy decision to start him when he looks desperate for a rest. Had other options. Play Dias, stick ake left back and o'reilly in midfield, could have played nunes and put lewis in midfield. Or just nunes in midfield himself. There's 3 options that get Nico his much needed rest. Other than that one decision, it's pretty much as expected and relatively happy with it
