Probably the problem with having a successful season and in both the carabao and Europe but they will have played Thurs, Sun, Thurs, Sat , Tues which is 5 games in 12 days.
We'll have only played 3 games in that period and most PL teams will only have played 2.
It just happens to be Palace at the moment but the FA need to better facilitate all teams representing the PL in Europe.

My sympathy for them would be in short supply when I think back to Wembley last spring. Bitter Bert?

Totally unsustainable, I agree, but their main players didn’t play tonight, so they’ve almost a week between games, then 2 games in 4 days.

It’s a quirk that Xmas eve is on a Wed too as that’s when the Carabao Cup game would have been played in any other week of the year.

Wonder if it’s time for the teams in Europe to not play the League Cup. Not ideal, but the schedule is almost full.

How come the Conference teams have a 36 club table but only play six mini-league games?
OK, I know the answer, but have they given any reasons apart from the cash generated by televised CL games?
Aberdeen finished 35th out of 36. Are they concentrating on the SPL or is football north of the border truly pish?
