Had a response following my complaint to the BBC about material inaccuracies in their report following the FA Cup draw, about City's ownership.

We note your concerns about the article entitled 'Could Man City FA Cup draw save Exeter City?'.

The segment in question was comparing the gulf in finances between Man City and Exeter City. We felt it was editorially relevant to briefly note the clubs financial backing given Sheikh Mansour is a member of the ruling family in Abu Dhabi and current vice President of the United Arab Emirates.

However please be assured there is no agenda in our reporting and we have shared your concerns about the article with the BBC Sport team.

However I didn't complain about agenda or financial backing. I complained about the claim that we were owned by the Abu Dhabi state, when the true ownership details were in the public domain and could therefore be easily checked, and that regardless of the Sheikh's wealth, we were bound by the same spending rules as all other PL clubs, and could only spend what we earned.
Did you reply saying that, and asking them to address your actual complaint?

I am not convinced that Hafez is a Man Utd fan. His linkedin account expresses an 'interest' in Man Utd but that might be derived from historic journalism.

It's one thing to dislike the articles that he has written on City, and another to make allegations that are difficult to prove. I don't think we should do that without evidence.

This is him on X.

So he's saying he is responsible for covering City, but we can't follow him on X. Not exactly equal to what Stone does for united is it? Surely there should be a consistent social media approach?

Is Haaland the 6th best footballer ? I think Foden and O'Reilly are better technical players.
Is Haaland the best striker ? Yes 100% best footballer ? No
How the hell do you determine who is the ‘best footballer’? Can you compare a goalkeeper with a striker or a midfielder?

The whole concept is a media con-tick designed to promote sales and clicks.

We know what they are at,they’ve dug themselves a hole with their response, would be interesting to see how they follow it up if you asked you didn’t mention agenda or financial backing.Although to be fair they can’t tell the truth and are no longer neutral in their views as going by the whole trump editing of his speech..

Gonna go back on it?

He asked what I thought were reasonable questions to Pep today. Easy questions that invited positive answers. So I am going to see how he approaches the West Ham match report and so on.

I don't really care if he supports a rival club as long as he is fair with City. I don't think he has been recently but people can always put things right with what they do. There is always another day. Let's be reasonable.

Not sure if this season's form is taken into account ?
LFC have 4 or 5 players in the twenty something positions.
Apart from the Hungarian lad (not attempting his name), the others have been average.
Even Virgil the Thunderbird is up there, despite showing his arse whenever an opponent shoots on goal (thanks VVD)...
Kane was fantastic last season and season before too. No idea why them lots are init though then.
