Enzo Maresca "high among candidates" to replace Guardiola if he leaves next summer

What has Maresco won?

Burnley smashed the Championship with Championship level players playing Pep style football with. Hampoinship players

Vinnie’s teams play exciting football, and he has proved himself more than Pro had when he took over Barca
I never said i wanted Maresca and i never will :D

I have been looking at Vinny’s tactics at Bayern and they are unusual to say the least. The main feature is that when they attack they attempt to overwhelm the opposing defence with numbers. They employ a 2-2-6 formation to achieve this! They have outscored the entire division by a mile. Surprisingly their defensive figures are good too. I know the Budesliga is a bit farmerish so not too much should be read into the numbers but, even so, it is worth thinking about when the time comes. I’d certainly pick him ahead of Maresca. His one season in the PL with Burnley certainly was very poor, but he was low in management experience then. Anyhow, it’s moot as Pep is staying till he’s 75 apparently.

I'm probably reaching, but I hope he's not doing everything at Chelsea right now because he thinks he's a shoo-in to replace Pep. If he's the best possible candidate, then okay, but I hope the board approaches the process with an open mind toward everyone and not just one of Pep's 'guys'.

Sounds like he’s about to leave Chelsea. He’ll be re-employed pretty quickly.

Time will tell where his stock lies when Pep actually goes.

I'm not sure it was his fault, he had pretty poor players, I was surprised when he went to bayern, and thought it would be the death of him as coach, but he's proved me wrong on that score.
In the championship, his Burnley side was very attacking and he continued with those tactics in the PL. I thought that was a bit naive.

Biggest load of shite going this
Is the correct answer. Any foreign manager who wins two or three games on the bounce in a top league is pushed by the media, and some stupid fans, as the favourite to replace Pep.
It's pure click-bait bollocks.
How many of these in the know wankers suggested Pellegrini would be the replacement for Mancini more than a few days before it happened?
