He's better at distributing the ball than I thought, or maybe even since he's arrived?

Made a couple of good but standard saves and one smart stop. The one hander high above him to beat out an effort from i think Bowen didnt look especially difficult but that was a lot harder than it looked, could easily have powered through him.

He palmed out a cross into a bad area, keeper should be gathering that really but made amends by spreading himself big for the rebound.

One moment of insanity when they got a lucky deflection of on of our players straight to bowen and he came rushing out when he was nowhere near it and Bowen wasnt in a scoring position. Bowen rounded him but thankfully put it into the side netting. He did well not to foul him and compound the error but should not have been in that position in the first place.

Distribution was the best we've seen from him but its still really shaky, nearly gave away his clean sheet at the end

Let's just say it how it is; thatd 14 goals conceded in his 14 league games, of which 4 came against Fulham

I just dont think we need to pull apart the guys flaws when the reality is obvious to see

I dont know why you think "I'm pulling apart the guys flaws" I just gave my assessment of his performance, both good and bad. As somebody who's in the lower reaches of the south stand, i always pay close attention to our keeper and defence second half and generally have more to say on them.
 
Finally a goalkeeper! It's been years since ive been completely happy with a goalkeeper at our club excluding Carson.
 
Settled in well. Made important saves. Still not totally convinced with distribution and aerial ability (those punches give me anxiety) but he makes saves. Strong leadership personality too.

I’m a big Ederson but I think Donnarumma is a very good buy considering the price and age
However I disagree entirely with your post - sorry.
The first save although pushed back into the area was very good from close range and the second sensational
The Bowen chance he came realised he wasn’t getting there so took his hands away to prevent a penalty but in doing so he forced Bowen wide
His weakness are crosses hopefully he comes for more and catches them rather than punches
Kicking is acceptable
