Premier League Games | 20/21/22 December '25

Today sums up what we are up against with PGMOL. 1st the usual officiating in kur game with everything to the opposition, then the usual Dipper officiating with VVD staying on despite the same challenge as the red card for Spurs and the most clear foul for their 2nd goal ignored by Var and the ref and then its only a penalty for Arsenal and the one they should have conceded ignored.
Didnt watch the game, just the goals. Cant believe Ekitikes wasn’t ruled out. Clear push in the back.

He plants his foot again after the contact and then just decides to throw himself backwards. It's not a foul.
He puts the foot down that's just been kicked, and when he feels the pain in his foot as he puts weight on it he winces up in pain! It's nothing like what you've decided you've seen. It's a pen, or should've been.

Rugby players would be laughing their cocks off watching footballers fall over for nothing
The Barclaycard ad over here is a football themed coffee shop, where drinks are brought to the table by a keeper wearing big gloves, etc.

Lady at the counter takes a step back and steps on a lads toe. He goes down like a pile of bricks and a Pyhsio runs in and starts spraying his ankle and leg while he writhes in pain!!

Even Barclays know what a fucking joke it is and they’re paying massively to have their name on the League!!!

There are a few things that need to change in football, because the shit that goes on today is ruining the game!

If we got the decisions Liverpool Arsenal got it be in the media all week how it’s a disgrace how the narrative would be we got away again with decision! It’s not just we get refereed differently it’s if we ever get a favourable decision it’s highlighted for a week and the likes of Liverpool Arsenal ones are brushed over!

Come on, we're not the Scousers with a victim mentality. We’ve won what we’ve won by getting on with the job, not crying about conspiracies. We’ve had decisions go for us - Rodri’s handball against Everton, Doku’s karate kick at Anfield and we’ve had decisions go against us too. That’s football. The reality is simple, some of the refereeing in this league is just shocking, and it affects everyone at some point. You deal with it, move on, and keep winning.
No we are not scousers but you sound like one;-)
There is not one angle that shows conclusively that Rodri handballed after the whistle had been blown for offside by an Everton player. You must never have practised or watched karate because if you have you will know a karate kick goes sole first into the chest not side on across the chest. Mcallister was wincing before contact and the last 20 minutes livarpool were trying every trick in the book to get a decision because they couldn't break down our defence that day. Feck me when City supporters are quoting those two instances I am almost lost for words as there are better calls than those two we have got away with.

Thats perfectly said.

do these footballers and i mean all footballer watch rugby league or union they should be ashamed of being in the conversation
Footballers are professional sportsman who try and gain advantage by exaggerating contact, not because they are harder or softer than rugby players.

And they cheat just as much in rugby and always have done just the methods are different. But they certainly feigned injury to cheat.
It was why they had to introduce voluntary substitutes in rugby because before you had to be injured to be substituted so they feigned injury to bring on fresh players. All blacks were masters of it.
Pisses me off when rugby fans claim moral superiority.

Do we want United to beat Villa?

I don’t want a Villa win.
Whether it’s United/Liverpool/Spurs or Sunderland/West Ham/Bournemouth that teams we need to drop points are playing, doesn’t matter. Results that are best for City are the only thing that matters.

I never want United to win, but we need Villa to drop points wherever they can at the moment. If that means Villa drop points today and it’s good for City (which it is), then sobeit.

We aren’t a midtable/bottom half team with little to play for anymore (and haven’t been for some time). We don’t need that old ‘want United to lose whoever they play’ in our outlook anymore.

The Monday night game looks like it it could be a classic, I might even finish work early so I can watch it.

The only game of the day again even on a Sunday.
Everton v Arsenal and Leeds v Palace were meant to be today but, because Palace played in the Europa Conference in the week, they had to move their EFL Cup ¼ final against Arsenal to this coming Tuesday which meant both teams had their games from today moved to last night due to the 60-hour rule after a PL game.
