Oh hello.
It's better to name and shame after the season (if at all). Things can go wrong in many ways (for any team).
That said, I'm optimistic.

Yes, things can change. That same poster a couple of pages back has us winning the League. It's better to name and shame after the season (if at all). Things can go wrong in many ways (for any team).

From what Pep said I think we may see Rodri on the bench for either Forest or Sunderland. I am pretty sure we are nursing him to be fit for the business end of the season. We have tougher games in Jan/Feb than Dec so his continued absence this month does make sense. If Nunes can fill in for 20-30 mins at DM that will be a huge help. Then hopefully we get Kovacic back in Feb/Mar alsoIt's amazing how we get starved of the title after 1 season, felt huge disappointment last season, reality says we wont win it every year but have a chance again this season.
Craig Burley on ESPN was astonished it wasn't given. You have to wonder.A great result for Arsenal but not a very good performance. Everton were without N'Diaye and as you say that was a penalty. Arsenal were very lucky that they didn't give it.
We are certainly playing much better football than Arsenal who are still too negative. Luck will play its part of course. For the first time this season, I actually think we're the best team in the league now and potentially capable of winning it.
Arsenal were incredibly fortunate to win tonight, it's taken another set piece, penalty this time and also a huge amount of 'luck' for VAR to not give Everton a penalty.
Great post. If Rodri comes back I really think we could win it. We have everything else in place. We’ve even started a run of clean sheets. Let’s hope the home fans embrace next year and give the players the support they deserve.I think City fans should be confident at the moment. We know City are not the finished article but we are young side that is improving. Cherki has added to City's game. Then there is Khusanov held back in reserve. Anyone who went to the Brentford game will have seen his potential in the 2nd half when he used his power and pace to eliminate any Brentford attack. It was hugely impressive. His time will come soon.
I have thought from the beginning of the season that we had a chance if we could fulfil our potential. Foden is back. Cherki is all we hoped he would be. Khusanov is coming good. The final piece in the jigsaw is Rodri. Let's hope that piece is still fully functional. Some day soon I hope Rodri will return, and this young City side will be ready to challenge for all the trophies.
We are in a privileged position to watch another of Pep's creations come into life. Citystein is beginning to walk, it needs one missing part to be complete.
You honestly think that the points return from those 4 games is of the same relevance as say Wolves, Lids, Burnley and Fulham? Pundits and Arsenal fans are hanging their hats on the fact that they've already negotiated all 4 of those away trips, so I'd say they are pivotal to our title challenge and to suggest otherwise is a bit daft really, but each to their own. Those games won't define our season any more than four other randomly chosen games will
No chance Villa win the title, they'll struggle for top 4
I just mean that teams can pick up points where they’re not expected to and conversely drop points in games where they seemed to be dead certs so 3 points from wolves at home is ultimately just as important as a win at anfield. You honestly think that the points return from those 4 games is of the same relevance as say Wolves, Lids, Burnley and Fulham? ...and the Villa comment was tongue in cheek my friend.
For anyone interested here's a breakdown of results vs opponents compared to the same result last year. TLDR is City are +12 points on the same results last season and Arsenal are +10 points.

Yeah I get that but just to measure the season on season performance of 2 teams who will admit they weren't at it last season. If that trend continued at the current pace re results compared to last season City would finish the season on 98 points (I.e draw one match and win all the rest) and Arsenal on 96 (draw 3 and win the rest). Both tallies are unlikely but it does show the fixture by fixture improvement so far vs last season and also that it's highly likely something has to give.Wouldn't judge City based off last season though mate.
Probably better comparing the results from the 4 peat year.
Last season wasn't hard to improve on. It was our worst season since Pellegrini's last.

Nah, mate - you're mixin' it up wi'' the Invincibles, bro.The Centurions would muller every single team in this league. Home and Away. Including current City team.
The Centurions were quite simply the greatest team to have ever graced the English top flight.
