I think youre over-estimating Villa. I dont expect them to maintain this level, their squad isnt deep enough. And even if they did, I'd welcome somebody else to potentially stop Arsenal. Only way I see villa finishing above us is if we royally fuck up, and in that situation,arsenal will also be ahead of us anyway and I'd rather villa than arsenal. Plus villa doing well provides another obstacle between United and the desperately needed CL money. There's too many upsides of a villa win to be bothered about them sticking close to us at this stage of the season.
