CITY win Rags lose
Well he may have opened his gob but I couldn’t understand a word he said!10 seconds after he opened gob I turned it off ,thick **** thinks tactics are little mint sweets
Points wise yeah. But they were the better side v a very good Villa today. They’re definitely miles better than recent years.
I thought he wouldn't have a voice left today after all his cheerleading last night for the dippers.
To be fair, they’ve progressed from being shite everywhere and not giving a shit to being able to control the middle third of the pitch."Being the best team" is all well and good until you remeber that Aston Villa has underlying stats that should put them firmly lower table, are performing really poor against basically all opposition they come up against but have been very lucky result wise.
Putting them under pressure puts United basically on the same level as West Ham.
If I were a United fan I'd worry a lot more about them dropping points at home to Everton who gets undone by every good team they meet, West Ham who can't buy a win against anyone and most recently Bournemouth who has stopped winning games at all, and seems to have gone a bit stale under Iraola. Yet they came to Old Trafford scored 4 in an even game and probably were the team closest to taking all 3 points. A week later they draw at home against canon fodder Burnley.
United is as midtable thrash as you can possibly be

Wrong thread my friend - this should be in "Save Our Ruben Interim."They are on an upward trend imo. Don't think they win a title under Amorim but they can finish top 4-6 this season and go deep in the cups again from next season. Think once Amorim has another summer under his belt they could be regular top 4-6 finishers once more, which isn't exactly what they want but it's on the way to their ideal destination.
Since those comments Ratcliffe made about giving Amorim three years no matter how much people might want him sacked, in all competitions they've P11 W5 D4 L2. In that time they've gone away to Liverpool (W), Spurs (D), Palace (W), and Villa (L). Things could be improved but Amorim has definitely stopped the rot and steadied the ship for the time being.

There is something in that system. Casemiro and Ugarte are nowhere near mobile enough to do the job Amorim wants, which is why they're still a work in progress, and Mount can't really be trusted to stay fit for more than 2-3 months at a time. But they are building a decent squad with decent options from the bench. No threat to us yet, but it's improving.
5th place go into the CL play off, so that would burst that bubble, if they did mange to qualify for the champions league I wouldn't be that concerned. They have only won one game in the competition in the last 5 years, and finished last in a group containing Galatassary and Copenhagen the last time they managed to qualify!I don't think they will.
I think the top 5 as is will be what gets it in the end.
United can only hope for Liverpool and Chelsea to fall off big time, but both teams will do enough in the end.
Harry Kane (twice) and David Beckham, both got sent out on loan, the loan system isn't a punishment, it helps develop players who are not ready for top flight football, whilst improving lower league clubs. It has been used in English Football by every single club and manager! Why do you think its so bad, It's a second chance for players to find their feet and stay in the game.Phil made the grade here because he progressed through the clubs ranks, and was nurtured properly and encouraged by City ..... if we'd shipped him off on loan to Barnet, Sheffield Wednesday, Fortuna Dusseldorf and Austria Vienna we might never have heard of him again!
I’m negative as anyone and always worst case scenario when it comes to thinking the rags will be back…They are on an upward trend imo. Playing Thursday, Sunday and Wednesday looks like three in a week to me as does Wednesday, Saturday, Tuesday. That still only two games/week.
But it’s not every week.Playing Thursday, Sunday and Wednesday looks like three in a week to me as does Wednesday, Saturday, Tuesday.
It's three games in any seven day rolling periodBut it’s not every week.
Thinks Anorim is good but that Pep needs to go.They are on an upward trend imo.
