PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I know it’s unrelated but the problem
I always have with public enquiries is absolutely fuck all meaningful happens. Normally it makes very rich & powerful immoral people feel uncomfortable for a few days as they are shown to be corrupt & unethical. I believe it sends a message to billionaires that you can do what you fucking want.

It can be wars, Boeing planes falling out of the air or pedo rings. It’s theatre dressed up as justice.
As a minimum they expose the truth, the corruption and the people behind it, to this end they provide answers and closure to the victims. This happened with Hillsborough, the blood scandal and the Manchester Arena Bombing to note three recent enquiries. We do know that as a result of the Horizon enquiry the Met have identified 53 people of interest and so far 5 have been interviewed under caution and the possible charges include corporate manslaughter. Usually it's victims that are asking for public enquiries and they welcome them when they do happen so they must be providing something.
 
The maximum number of points possible in a premier league season is 114.

I’m not saying they shouldn’t occur, I just find them a bit toothless. Ive followed, enthralled feeling that finally justice will prevail then I see corporations seem emboldened that they won’t face consequences. Even in your example you say they may face charges, well I’ll counter that with they may not.
