Can see us setting up like this with him and doku alternating both sides to confuse the fullbacks or him slotting inside when cherki drifts wide, we would have a quite fluid attack probably the most fluid attack where all the forward 5 can play left, right or centre with ease since we had KDB/D.Silva central.

he's 29 years old, and coming back from a very serious injury where plenty don't come back at all.
 
Has he made up his mind yet, or is he going to drag it out?

Unfortunately Isak breaking his leg opens it up for Liverpool in a positive way.

Idk guys I’m not super excited to sign another forward.

Anderson X Nico G they compliment each other so well. Foden at the 10. Cherki x Doku on the wings. Yes Doku is out fine put Semenyo there but he would take mins from Cherki who we get the best out of him at his free role at RW. I’d rather going all in on Anderson. That’s proper squad building. We need his ball winning more than we need Semenyo’s goals, we score enough goals. We’ve scored the most in the league. I would like him yes there’s no Marmoush, Doku injured and Savio is still developing. I really think Anderson would secure us the league Semenyo would just be a cherry on top. Anderson could complete our midfield and make it top 2 in the league.

Baleba hasn’t impressed me in MONTHS he would be behind Nico G and Anderson who would play 90% of the mins. Brighton don’t sell for cheap. So you’d spend all that money for him to play dead rubber games and cup games ? No from me.

Guehi was a cool idea when our defence was horrid but we still have Reis and Khusonov. Gvardiol and Dias aren’t going anywhere. Plus I’m sure he extended his contract. He’s their highest paid player now.

No, but every player is different and oddly Germans have a thing about liverpool and they were new champions then.
Whatever Semenyo is thinking don’t think Isak injury changes much

We wait on the chap, the only chap, that has ever won a Ballon d’Or in our colours. As well as getting his age wrong, you also seem to be ignoring the fact that he’s actually played for us 8 times this season. His return has not been smooth, granted, but he and Bernardo are the two best midfielders at the club, and rushing either out of the door, let alone both, would be wanton stupidity.

It changes Liverpool’s urgency for him. Without injuries, Semenyo is the kind of player they might have opted to pass on. He’s very good but he isn’t elite (imo). Now they might look at it and feel their front line is desperate for him.

We have spent nearly all our successful era under Pep with one holding midfielder, either ferdy or rodders, it was only last year when we lost Rodri and most of our centre backs were injured on rotation we went to 2 holding, it was the exception not the rule.

Now Nico G is growing into the role and we have atracking midfileders who will press even the low block I see Pep returning to one DM and one drifting around the middle supporting both defence and attack, be that berny or reijinders with foden, however Cherki isn't a winger and never stays on the by-line, so the option to go Foden/Cherki. ahead of Gonzo with 2 wide players is not unfeasable from old baldy.

Would be happy to see Anderson and he would be a great asset but wouldn't expect him to be a starter as a partner for Nico G if Pep is true to form
