Not football related but in the last 2 days I've seen 2 headlines from those bastions of journalism, Reach plc.
One, a story about why Joshua will lose 32 million prize money from his fight. Why? You may ask. Well it turns out that he has to pay tax on his earnings of 68.5 million. Well strike me down with a feather.
And the second story was even better. They went to great lengths to explain how boxing day won't be a bank holiday next year because it lands on Saturday, therefore we'll have a bank Holiday on the following Monday instead. Apparently stating the bleeding obvious is somehow now newsworthy.
I mean what the actual fuck!?! Is this what passes as journalism these days?
