One thing if we like chasing why in the first test dud Stokes elected to bat? We should always bowl first if they going to keep this aggressive cricket and like chasing..

The Ashes have won by the Aussies and the truth is they are doing a Save Our Stokes thread.

England didn't look any better than the other 3 tests and some will say it's even worse because the Aussies went all out Bazball swinging from the hips and gave their wickets away. 36 wickets in 2 days is a joke.

Forget the ranking shit about every test counts for the World Cricket Comp. anybody who thinks this was well earned and England was just better in this test are the same ones wanting Stokes and Bazball to stay on

I suppose we have to take what we can and a win is a win, but after all this is done and dusted, I don't want people forgetting what shit we dished up when it matters, we shit the bed big time and daft mistakes were made

We might get the odd match, mainly over here, where a game could last 4 days, or 4 and half days, but that is rare, but leads people to saying test cricket is great,

You can't just blame the teams. The ACB must be held accountable for the state of that pitch. For a test pitch it was an absolute disgrace. A proper green top which gave the batsmen no chance
 
Just watching somebody called Isa Guhe 'interviewing' Stokes - she looks bored and sounds clueless. The truly appalling TNT commentary in this series is a very bad joke, shame on Cookie for working with this motley bunch of ignorant rowing/cycling jocks and snidey no marks like Finn.

She is ok, but Alex Hartley on TMS is like listening to a teenage girl talking asinine shite
 
Everybody talking about this test being over in under 2 days and was exciting? What's next, 20/20 Test matches with 2 innings each over in one day

Australia has just become a lot more difficult place to bat in general. I remember Cook's 244 at the MCG in 2017/18 and it was as dead as a dodo (pre drop-in). I think that test ended in a draw and the MCG was on the verge of losing test matches because of it. Now it has gone too far the other way. I can't imagine CA are happy about it given that they already lost a fortune after Perth ended so quickly.

3 out of 4 tests have been done in under 2 days. I'm sorry that is pathetic in 5 day cricket.
