Kick off time 20:00 GMT.

Another tricky game at a point in the season when the fixtures are piling up. Chelsea (H) on the Sunday, 3 days later.

I think it's a case of getting to Exeter (H) on the 10th Jan and then rotating.

AFCON players are still out, same for Sunderland who are arguably missing half their squad, still got a draw at Brighton last week though. They play Leeds (H) tomorrow.

If Donnarumma, Gonzalez or Bernardo get booked they will miss Chelsea (H).

Xhaka and Le Fee are at risk of missing the game if they get booked tomorrow, so fingers crossed it's a bloodbath.

-------------Donnarumma
Nunes--Dias--Gvardiol--O'Reilly
---------------Gonzalez
-------Bernardo----Reijnders
-------Cherki--------Foden
----------------Haaland

Not sure we can register Semenyo in time, even if we sign him early, I might be wrong though...

Hopefully we can start the new year off the way we've finished this one.

With today's result which was a very important 3 points. We can except a draw at a ground where plenty of teams will get zero points.
Hopefully with a lot of there players away were capable of getting another 3 points.
And getting back to cleansheets.
We have atleast 3 players who are only 1 yellow card off suspension so no silly tackles please. CTID

Only seen them play a full game once so far this season, their match vs us, and have to be honest, I wasn’t that impressed by them. Based on what I’d read and heard on pods, radio etc earlier in the season, I was expecting more.

As such, I know it’s away, but I’m fully expecting a win for us here.

Don’t know if we upset the apple cart and bring in width (savinho) for Reijnders.

Wouldn’t be surprised or upset with the same team again though.

Not lost at home yet - obvs don't know tomorrow's result, but be surprised if they lose to Leeds.
Missing a few due to AFCON though so that must work in our favour, as does the shorter turn around.
Squeaky win works for me

Hope Arsenal drop points against Villa (who I can’t see keeping up this form, especially in away games) because I think Sunderland away will be very, very tricky.

Wonder if that guy in their crowd this time will be saying "Have they done it? Have Man City done it?" (He's still on youtube somewhere.)

Still remember the Sunderland faithful serenading Ferguson and the away support with “Fuck all, you're gonna win fuck all” to the tune of “Blue Moon”.

We’ll need to be a tad sharper than today, but as we only played them a few weeks ago we know what to expect: another hostile home crowd influencing the ref.
