North Stand Construction Discussion

I’m not good at public speaking, but via the forum, I’d like to thank our 2 fantastic drone flyers, Colin and Stephen, for all the hard work, effort, time and dedication they have both put into filming the construction of the North stand this year. Happy Christmas and best wishes to the both of you from all of us on Blue Moon.
Thankyou very much jrb and all Blue Moon members we have both enjoyed seeing the transformation of the stand and seeing how the stadium, hotel and shop etc are taking shape. Thanks for welcoming us to the Blue Moon forum and the positive feedback. Here's to finishing the project in 2026!!! Cheers everyone

Is the NS element of the project on time ?

If not, may it be better to resolve all the ticket pricing & conditions along with the relocation protocols & 1894s shenanigans, and defer its opening until the start of next season.

We've lived without it for long enough.....getting everything right first time for the long term benefit of everyone must be the objective.

I hope Khaldoon reads the forum.

The official line for the extension is sometime in early 2026 guesses on here is around March
There will need to be a phased opening to ensure to obtain the necessary approvals
Towards the end of the season we may well have significant matches with high demand so makes sense to use the additional seats to meet it

The allocation of ST places will not be until next season so no shenanigans for this season
It wont be KAM's decision this is below his pay grade, he will get updates on progress at board meetings

The small number of people who may (or may not) move at the back of the bottom tier will find out more details before too long.

The first 3 pictures are a bit dated from the 2nd of November. They give a great view of the stand from a players perspective, from the corner flag and the goals. The last picture is from a week ago. Imagine playing football on that pitch.

I think the 3rd photo shows the sight line's from the back corner seats might not be as good as it should be for the corner flag.

NORTH STAND OPENING, BARS & PRICING - CITY WEBSITE - November 2025

The expanded North Stand’s new single-upper tier is due to open before the end of the current season.

What new bar spaces are being added to the expanded North Stand?

Two new bar experiences will be introduced:

  • Cross Bar – located at the start of the expanded section, welcoming around 300 fans in a relaxed, social setting.
  • City Hall – an enhanced bar experience for around 500 fans on matchdays, and a hub for non-matchday events, located at the back of Level 0 (formerly Level 1).

A small number of Season Ticket Members in North Stand Level 0 (formerly Level 1) will need to relocate due to the introduction of City Hall.

Fans will not need to relocate during the 2025/26 season and will only be required to relocate before the start of the new season.

No relocations are required to accommodate Cross Bar.

If you will need to relocate, you can find more information on how we will support you here.

Fans who need to relocate have been contacted directly and offered:

  • A priority relocation window to choose any available general admission seat.
  • The option to move as a group, even if not all members are directly affected.
  • No increase in price if they move to a more expensive location.
  • The choice to relocate within the expanded North Stand or nearby seats in Level 0 (formerly Level 1).
Further updates will be shared following continued consultation with City Matters.

In early 2026, we’ll provide information about:

  • 2026/27 Season Ticket pricing (ahead of Relocates, Renewals, and new Season Tickets going on sale).
  • How to express interest in rail seating and new matchday experiences.
  • Match-by-match ticket releases for matches where the expanded section is in operation this season

Sooner the better so that 1894 can put their pitch forks and slings down and join the modern world.

With respect of course.

How of an impact will the North Stand construction, hotel, entertainment areas etc have on matchday revenue? Ours is the lowest out of the top 6 clubs, will be interesting to see how much of the gap is closed on the rags and London clubs once it’s fully operating
