I think it's more to do with Viana is very close with Jorge Mendes they've stayed very close since Viana was a footballer, and Mendes uses Romano as his mouthpiece for getting info out there. Also I wouldn't bet against Romano getting exclusives from Rafael Pimenta who he is also very close too. She's Haalands agent. So he got two ins there with City. Which he possibly never had before.

I don't think Viana is leaking anything without City's permission but Fabrizio was spot on and first to most transfers in the summer. He might now be first contact when City want our interest out there
