You could well be correct though with Ake in particular as Gaughan has mentioned previously that Ake is open to a move back to Bournemouth and it's a position Bournemouth have lost their best players in the summer.

Nothing would give me greater pleasure than this. The return of Rodri, with the additions we have made, turns us back into a world-class outfit, IMO.

They’re a fucking joke.
The shit them and there fans have given us over the years (unfairly in my opinion) about how we spend.

If this is true they’re not content with spending practically half a billion in the summer and want to go again spending more.

One of my favourite Liverpool facts, they were the first team in the PL era to spend over a billion on transfers and not with the PL.
 
Normally with Viana the media find out last. Viana is probably already onto the next target wouldn’t be surprised to see new links in a couple of days to Guehi.

They might not want a 30 yr injury prone defender, or an unproven squad player.
They seem quite good at identifying players themselves.
I would hate City to catch a thrown bone.
