He won't be he will play in cup games the odd champions lge game and easy lge games. U have to remember he will have to learn to play the pep way before he is fully trusted. No way pep throws him in the first 11 straight away with the team settled and playing well and winning games.

Am I wrong for thinking this guy shouldn't be/isn't a priority anymore? Based on the way City have been playing the last few weeks, 1 or 2 CMs would be more of a priority and still another RB and maybe a CB. You're certainly not playing him over Cherki/Foden/Reijnders right now. I just don't see where he fits.

He is a third best goalscorer in the league. Ofc he can get huge minutes when he arrives.

He scored more goals in the league this season than : Doku ,Savinho, Bobb and Marmoush combined.

You are wrong. Doku has a bit of Johnny Boulders in him and Savinho and Bobb are nowhere near starting level. We've had to move Foden over to the left where he is clearly less effective in lieu of Doku being unavailable. Irrespective of whatever expectations you may have the club's ambition is to compete on all fronts. Of course we could use Semenyo...

Well he threw Reijnders and Cherki straight in. At £65m you aren't buying potential. You are buying the finished article and City will expect good numbers this season from Semenyo.

Bobb obviously leaving..

But Semenyo and Savinho will be our wingers.

Doku may be moved inside to more of a Bernardo/ 8.. bring the ball up role (something Pep has used him to do multiple times before and he's very effective there) and an exit outlet

No Doku in the midle

We have Bernardo, Lewis, Kovacic, Foden and Cherki there.

Doku was already playing more centrally before his injury sidelined him. Are you starting Semenyo over Foden or Cherki? Absolutely not. I just don't see where/when he gets minutes. Savinho and Bobb only play when there's a shift in tactics or the game is in hand already. Pep's attacking tactics have clearly shifted.

Lewis ain't seeing the pitch any time soon. Kovacic is out 'til at least February. Foden and Cerki are attackers.

Silva is gonna be on dead legs mid-January at this rate. We need 1 or 2 more CMs not another winger to ride the bench

I'm starting him over an injured Doku...and to rotate with some others. For me, Savinho and Bobb's minutes are the first to go.

I completely agree, I reckon Anderson is way more of a priority than another forward right now. We're literally down to the bare bones in the middle; other than Gonzalez, we haven't got a single fit body for the 6 or 8 roles.
But I also get why the club looking at attackers. Aside from Haaland, the rest of our front line has been poor in front of goal this season. (And don't get me wrong, I’m not saying Doku is a bad player, but he’s more of a creator/provider than a finisher)

Fair enough but Reijnders/Foden/Cherki are making a very dynamic attacking trio that can create for themselves and feed Haaland. I wouldn't take minutes from any of them
