They were included in the fixture lists after being wound up so everyone knew it would happen.
 
Salford RLFC beginning to take shape.

Started selling season tickets for adults price £205 unreserved seating. Only part of the stadium open initially.

Hornets went up from £150 to £180, so £12 a game now compared to £20 on the day and £18 in advance.

Same division as Salford, but Salford got more of the bigger teams to play as they used the previous version's ranking, and the farce now with the two divisions merged and one big loop fixture theme.
 
About 5,000 there last night for the opening game. That obviously isn't going to hold up but it's good to see them back on track at least.
 
Salford bottom. Rochdale good win in a seesaw at Brooklands, Windes can't cope with the Boncos who are odds on for SL no doubt.

It will be a long championship season.
