If Jack turned up and moved like Doku/Cherki he'd never given him the role he did. He didn't coach anything out of him rather than gave him a role best suited to his best attributes.
Like Nunes for example, very physical(pace strength ect) with good attacking instincts. Pep hasn't coached midfield out of him rather found a role in his system that BEST suits his attributes rather than crowbarring him in where he would be a detriment to the team.
Not a manager in the game close to as good as Pep at adapting players to fit his vision/system.

Pep in my eyes is a genius. I have almost 10,000 posts you will find no criticism of Pep in any, not one.

Many other posters on the other hand believe they could do better, despite no coaching or playing quals, even when he won 4 in a row, it wasn't good enough for many.
Anyone who plays for Pep is elite. If after 2 seasons they don't fit the system or work hard enough or don't improve they go. But that is actually a stated policy of the club.

Jack was great, when he joined I was worried about his lifestyle, and eventually it was his failing.

Opposing managers are going to have nightmares working out how to stop it. Doku is used to playing against 2 men, but if a defence does that now, they will leave Semenyo 1 on 1. Semenyo is going to take defensive attention away from Doku and Haaland.

Yes, they have, but only playing for the same club (league/Cup games)
It'd probably be a first playing against same opposition for DIFFERENT clubs

Was out on the piss in a strip club until the early hours on Christmas eve and then phoned in sick with flu for their next game.

If Semenyo brings his quality and is dedicated to the cause then he won't need any excuses about talent 'being coached out of him'.

One thing everyone can say about Jack is how much of a genuine bloke he is. Would have been at home with his family lapping up Christmas with his daughter.

Always supported him, shame it didn’t work out as well as it could have here but he was instrumental in the treble season.
