He was out injured for 6 weeks & missed 9 games & he wasnt going to go straight back into the starting 11 especially With Doku & Foden being in form. Had he not been thrown into a shit show of a side v Leverkusen where he was poor, then he might have played more games upto the start of Afcon

He's been in every match day squad since mid-October until AFCON and hardly given any playing time apart from the league cup and resting Haaland for the last 5 minutes of games. I just don't think that Pep fancies him and it is pretty obvious why.

Can only help his game coming to us. He’s box to box here against Chelsea, won’t have to do that with us. Also, picking up the ball 50 yards from goal instead of 30 makes a big difference.
Didn’t realise how quick he is over first 5 yards, but unlike Doku he seems to kick on then.
