Viana doesn’t seem as soft as Txiki in certain regards so I would imagine if it’s close or done then Semenyo doesn’t play for them

Surely we will get some sort of news today, even if it’s just him being up here, absolutely zero to gain by us delaying matters when it’s a release clause. Why wouldn’t we get it done asap so he can be involved on Sunday?

That would be to register him presumably, so the deal itself would have to be done before that including the medical, media stuff etc.

It would be nice to think he'd be the game changer that allows Bournemouth to get something against Arsenal but seems unlikely seeing as the Cherries have been on such a poor run with him in the side.
Get him in as soon as possible. More chance he could be a game changer for us against Chelsea or Brighton. I see him making an impact quickly

Which could just as easily happen if he was playing for us on sunday. Difference being, in that scenario, he'd already be a contracted City player, with the fee already having been paid, whether upfront or on the drip.And risk a long term injury and the move collapsing?

Don’t agree personally with your logic, I think it’s more important to look after our own games and having him as part of the squad for this run of games would give us a better chance of keeping our run going. I reckon Arse will batter Bournemouth anyway, regardless of Semenyo playing for them.100%.
