Agree. Haaland is great much of the time but he does not make the best shooting decisions at times. It seems he frequently does not think where he is shooting. Often straight at the keeper.
What frantic pace? It only looks frantic because we are so unbelievably pedestrian, I suspect they can keep that up quite easily, they get plenty of recovery time defending in shape whilst we quite literally stand still with the ball.

He takes far too long on the ball, it's annoying as fuck.

I could put up with it of he attempted a diagonal ball of a pass that breaks the lines, but he doesn't, he just plays it sideways and backwards and it's a pass he should have played about 10 seconds previously.

He played one great diagonal to Cherki and I think it's the first sort of pass he has made all season. Rodri does 2/3 of them every single game.

Nothing up front and two centre midfielders who stroll about against a very physical side and can’t pass it forward.

We need to put Rodri and Doku on, and I’d be tempted to put Khusanov on at right back and play Nunes in midfield as well.
I wouldn't have Rodders anywhere near the pitch. He'll get no protection from the ref and get nobbled. It'll be a relief to get away from there without any big injuries.

Bag the 3 points and get the fuck out of Wearside.
