The chance for Haaland, fuck me id expect my 9 year old to make that pass, so that’s not gonna get him out of jail for being weak as piss in the tackle and jumping out of headers. He needs to start controlling games like this.

Here is the issue. He is not getting the ball. It was even worse in the first half.

The discussion needs to be around why this is. You can't expect him to do much with little ball.

Can't wait for Semenyo to hopefully push Cherki inside.

Not his best game but if sav and Erl finished their chances he’d have 2 assists so im a bit baffled by the pelters. Thought he played some good passes

Way too inconsistent and puts in a fair few performances like this one.

If another clubs supposed prodigious home grown talent put in these kind of performances, we would be the first to say they're overhyping them.

Really poor tonight. Far too slow in everything he did, beaten to passes, wanted far too much time on yhe ball and closed down and tackled, didnt show enough to get on the ball in dangerous positions, the few times he did he did nothing with it and played backwards and safe, didn't get into shooting positions, too slow in getting himself into scoring positions. Just a awful game from him. Not alone in that but that's not good enough from somebody who is now our main man, you can't have many of these games where he's anonymous when you take on that role.

And who makes way for Semenyo? We can't play doku, foden, cherki and semenyo behind haaland. If semenyo is wide right and cherki is central, foden is either on out on the left with the same issue or he's on the bench

Depends how you define world class? World class natural talent probably but the fact he’s not even a shoe in for England at the world cup says a lot. Genuine world class midfielder would walk into that team because they’re world class. Never mind the best in England.
 
Consistency is a big problem. He looked and played tired.

Still delivers more than most so can’t complain. He isn’t able to reach his high standards game after game.

Not sure what we do about it.

Haha not got the energy to get into the England debate after that mate but I don’t see how anyone can look at Foden for city and not think he’s world class. Apperciate others may feel differently but to me he is a gem and I don’t understand how so many on here don’t appreciate what we have in him.

Away from home Cherki definitely, far too many poor performance from Phil on the road this season.
