Yes, but they have failed. Even now we have proven to be the first choice for the best players except a few prima donnas with big egos.Pep: “ they must be so busy, sarcastically”.
I wonder if we have got this all wrong and the lawyers in charge are taking the piss and have done from the start? Hiding behind a 115 wall when only 6/7 charges exist?
Let’s say for example, we the fans are correct and it takes reading CAS and understanding complex accounting practices to inform? Let’s say the league knew it was being a wanker from the start and let’s say the club knew this to be the case. The drama in between with regards to guilty or not guilty and the smear campaign is the byproduct of such actions…
Let’s say it’s all unbelievable because it simply is the legal system being inadequate and monotonous.
It’s quite simple. Charge us or fuck off and the sneaky red twats backed with levy said oh we will Abu Dhabi tosspots.
So we go down the yellow brick road to nowhere. Destroy the evil wicked witch(city) with media propaganda.

From my point of view it was no coincidence at all. Spurs and Le Arse were prime movers in the hounding of City from the very beginning. The PL and member clubs knew this and if the verdict/judgement goes Citys way there could be carnage and lawsuits, IMHO. Spuds, Le Arse and the PL have sidestepped this shxtshow by getting rid of the most prominent agitators once scruffy jim backed off. Happy New Year everyone.Spurs and Arsenal`s PL representatives bite the dust
It is well known and has been covered well in The Times that both Daniel Levy and Tim Lewis had been divisive agitators at the Premier League.
Both lost their influential and high profile positions at Spurs and Arsenal very shortly after the Premier League agreed to settle with CITY before a third APT case was due to be heard. The PL must have envisaged that they were heading for a 3rd defeat against CITY.
As also reported in The Times amongst other media, CITY had recorded resounding successes in their previous 2 APT cases against the PL. The PL`s rules were independently deemed to be unlawful, "void and unenforceable".
Was part of City`s settlement linked to Levy and Lewis going? Or was it pure co-incidence?
City`s settlement also meant that unfairly and unreasonably delayed sponsorships could proceed.
