Shame that his finishing is similar to prime Corradi! His off ball movement is similar to prime Kevin.
He should have but sub restrictions prevented that. We had been forced into the savinho sub thrpugh injury and then pep brought on Josko just a few minutes later using up 2 of the 3 permitted sub stoppages. Pep always like to have a sub in reserve in case of injury and we had Ake out there who looked like he was coming off after 3 minutes so he was never going to make his last subs after 70 minutes. he had to wait as long as he did to get Reijnders on. The error was not bringing on Gvardiol with Doku, could have brought on reijnders earlier then and still had 1 sub left. It’s no secret that I’m not impressed with him but I actually thought he should have been brought on earlier tonight. We needed the extra body up there.
ahem ahemShame that his finishing is similar to prime Corradi!
They don’t give him the ball. Often he’s free but they rather send it right to CherkiScored and then we didn’t see him until he was subbed off.
Cherki. Foden and Casper sounds great but when they disappear/shit the bed as they did today, it leaves us ridiculously light.
Didn't see him before his goal eitherScored and then we didn’t see him until he was subbed off.

Reijnders is a conundrum because his all round play is so poor, we are effectively playing with two men up top who aren’t really involved. Haaland gets a pass because his scoring levels are that of a freak. Reijnders likely won’t score enough to get that same pass.good goal but dont get him tactically. like arriving in the box sometimes well, but I dont get what else he is doing. kind of in the way of Foden and Cherki as he is almost playing ahead of them rather than behind them. I watched few Milan games last season and he wasnt this close to the box in those games. more of a box-to-box but but aint spending much time in our half at all or tracking back a lot.
he doesnt have it in him to run as much as Bernardo up and down.
also very different to the Gundogan type who makes us tick from deeper. its like he takes the most attacking bits of Gundogan's role and plays only that "limited" role.
he looked more of a box-to-box at Milan but he was able to do that as the pace of games and intensity of Serie A literally about 50/60% of PL.Reijnders is a conundrum because his all round play is so poor, we are effectively playing with two men up top who aren’t really involved. Great goal but totally anonymous otherwise. My Dad - who I watched the game with doesn’t watch much of us anymore - said the same thing. Where is he?
Watched it on a US stream against Sunderland (I’m in France) and the commentator said something about him being amazing. He’s clearly got something but I’m not sure he’s quite found it yet. Need more influenceGlad you said that because that’s what I thought - when Neville gave him man of the match, I thought I must have missed something
