Shamima Begum

Which has fuck all to do with what I said

People don’t want wrong uns in their country, ffs this is too much hard work.
Your use of the word their (their country) implies that she is seen as not belonging to the country that 'they' belong to. She does - she was born here.
It isn't hard - British citizens who break the law are tried and convicted in a court of law, not in the court of public opinion. This applies regardless of race, creed, or religion.
Though you have accused me of playing the race card, in fact I have done the opposite, simply demanding that she receive the same level of attention and the same legal treatment as others, which she patently does not.

It doesn't imply it at all thats your obsession, other people in this country would prefer less wrong uns, anyone would, they could be a British born drug dealer and they would prefer them not to be here.

Hence people dont want wrong uns in their country. Like pulling teeth with you. Not everything has an hidden agenda, you jumping to conclusions and believing the worst in people is your problem not mine.
Now kindly take my words in good faith because that's how they're meant or just fuck off replying to me.

If you make a point, I can reply.
We all prefer less bad apples, sure.
Not every bad apple has endless news output, politicians arguing, and separate threads.
In my view, that is because there is political capital gained from race issues.
You have shared your opinion and I have shared mine - it is how forums work, and how society works well.

Make as many points as you like and we will be fine just dont misrepresent my words.

Can you blame them, but as she no longer holds British citizenship its illegal under international law for Bangladesh to refuse her citizenship if only she hadn't fucked off to join a bunch of murderers she wouldn't have this problem.
And yet Florian Wirtz never got any grief from the press for doing the same thing when he left Leverkusen.

It’s quite a fundamental sociological point for me. Is someone who does something completely terrible when they are fifteen worthy of a chance of forgiveness and redemption?

I’m my opinion, absolutely they are.

What sort of society would we have become if the answer to that question was ‘no’?

I suggest you have a look back on the last few pages of this thread.
And @hilts it was not I who bumped it - you made a mistake then and are repeating it now.

Bloody Nora, The White Widow - there's some old chip papers kind of proving my point. There have been a number of white far-right terrorists but non with their own thread years on.

She never leaves the news because she is a brown Muslim. That is my view.
Never said you bumped it that would be a lie, never said the white widow was a recent story, white female terrorists of this kind aren't a daily thing really. You're having a mare.

If you can show me these white female terrorists that as teenagers fled the country and then had their citizenship revoked but are still trying to get back in off you go......... whenever you're ready..... anytime soon will do :-)

Anyhow you keep spouting brown Muslim as your view. You're the kind of guy/gal who obviously thinks someone of colour should get a pass at criticism because there are racists in the world.

I think on that basis you ain't worth bothering with. I'm not into people who never grew out of simplistic and very basic student politics. Its for the hard of thinking or as a deflection because they cannot argue their points.

I find this to be an embarrassing post.
When you reflect on it I think you will too.
Your last post said we should move on. I agreed. Then you post this.

And how is she gonna redeem herself and why would we need to take that chance on her rehabilitation. She can quite easily redeem herself elsewhere. The joys of the Internet she can ask for forgiveness via zoom:-)

Agreed.
What crime has she committed?

I read the other post of yours afterwards, you played the race card and have not managed to back it up once, dont tell me what I will reflect on, now kindly bugger off, pretty please. Ta very much.
Last time I will ask.

It isn't the race card to seek equality.
To my knowledge, Shamima Begum has not been convicted of a crime.
Try and convict is a simple premise.
She joined a terrorist group at the age of fifteen having been groomed.
I contend that the only reason this is still in the public eye is because of her race and religion.

Here's a nice guy for you - never heard of him, no special thread, no political discussion.

I don't think there will be a white female terrorist who has travelled abroad and wants to come home. I suspect that's why you made the conditions of evidence so very specific.

The block button will stop you seeing my posts if you wish.
I have very occasionally used it myself.
