Personally prefer him RW and think he needs to be focused on creating more.
We know the finishing isnt there, he and Pep knows it too.
That 1st season on the RW showed how good of a creator he can be, his finishing wasn't good then either.
Semenyo on RW will add the goal threat, while Savinho becomes his understudy for backup.
That's a good way to develop him and not rely on him too much, he is still a project player for me, so I have more patience with him.

These stats look selective to me. Where have these come from?
I can show you different stats that will make Savinho look better than Doku and Semenyo. Not that it would achieve anything, you are so obviously prejudiced against him.
Selective? You're joking... Dribbles, crosses and key passes are ilustrative for a winger. Unless you can't accept facts and objective reality.

Pep plays him because he is the best coach in the World.
A team wanted to sign him because they see his talent.

Bobb needs to play every game, great stats
Bobb didn't play good... and still he's much better than Savinho in terms of stats in comparison. Maybe that's why these stats seem "selective" to Savinho's fanbase. Truth hurts.

Rodri, Haaland, Foden, Cherki, Pep... you can check my posts. I guess you're trying to dismiss me saying I'm a hater because you can't argue the objective facts, which are the stats. Good luck with that.

This guy is just not a City player.
Because I can't understand a player in so poor form this season got a contract extension and still play minutes that doesn't deserve on the pitch. Specially being lazy in defence and making (almost) always the worst decision in a team that needs associative players. I think scoring goals is the minor Savinho's problem. Very good skills but low football IQ. Not a player for Man City. That's my opinion. But Savinho can prove I'm wrong on the pitch, beginning for a change of attitude.

Most of us are bemused but Pep views him more favourably than the likes of Bobb and Marmoush.
Its just that I can't get worked up about it as much as some posters
Sums it up for me.
Can have as many dribbles as he likes, but if they come to nothing then what's the point.
Well in reality after I stopped playing I coached and trained various youth teams including 2 State champions and several nationally ranked teams. I also took part in regional and national player ID programs in the 90s and 2000s. That doesn't put me on the adult professional level but I'm far from a random schmo. That said, IMO Savinho is not anywhere near the required level at this time. Its possible the fact that he was presented as a star CFG product has given him a fair bit of extra rope within the club.
