If only Foden had the heart of Bernardo….he’d be a world beater instead of what he will always be….a very good player who sometimes effects games.
I thought he was poor today and took the wrong options at the big moments.
Just sat on the bus and reading Gary Neville’s comment about Chelsea deserving a draw…..not sure what game he was watching.
I think Dias going off cost us big time.
Great performances from Nunes, Bernardo and Rodri plus Khushanov looked good when he came on but it feels like a defeat.

Fine margins. Haaland hit the post so that could have been 2-1 right there. Maybe our luck is a bit off at the minute. Semenyo will give us a massive boost.

Beyond harsh to blame Donnarumma for the goal.Entire team looks out of gas.
None of the team besides Rodri & Khusanov had any fight in them.. we were outhustled and outplayed played from the starting whistle to the end whistle.
Shocking.. absolutely shocking
DonnaTrauma As good as he is, that was horrifying for the Chelsea goal.. Traumatic 3 chances and he couldn't save/ clear it.
I'm not giving up but we're a 75-85 point team.. that sadly just isn't enough to win the league this season! Just don't see us getting 90 points this season.

The cross was deflected. Nunes then gets a toe on the ball to stop Enzo scoring first time.
Then he saves a shot from point blank range and got unlucky that it landed straight back to him. There was no time to react to decide where the ball ends up.

We should've been able to close the game out. If Silva hadn't lost the ball and just punted for possession in their half, we probably would've.

Anybody. We needed some legs. But sometimes it’s about changing formation. I would get midfield sorted. Rodders was alone most of that half & he was shattered. Cherki & Foden constantly up front left huge gaps. I’d even consider taking Haaland off & stick another player in the middle.Who would you have brought on?

Not going to fault the players or Pep for the result. The lads are absolutely fucked and were running on fumes from the get go.

And that is why we are treading water ? Haaland Foden Cherki and 3 or 4 more need a rest but will play against Brighton.
The Squad is so unbalanced its so crazy ? 4 keepers for a start ? Where are the covers that can come in and play 2 or 3 games to rest players Phillips ? Stones ? Bobb Lewis.
We have 4 goalkeepers for fuck sake

We're not good enough to win the league simple as that, and especially now we've got a thoroughly depleted squad. A lot of our victories this season have masked over bang average performances. Who didn't see that equaliser coming tonight, it was so obvious, another half where we can't get any control and we let the opposition start to dominate us. We look absolutely fucked energy wise but have zero options left to replace this current starting eleven. Foden and Haaland need a break, both playing so poorly at present, Cherki as bad today.

In my humble opinion we were never going to be in a title race this season. I’ve been pleasantly surprised that we have kept up the pace with Arsenal when you compare the strength of our respective squads.
I think this is what is coming home to roost now. The same 12 players have been flogged to death because of a lack of trusted depth behind them and now we are paying the price. We do seem to have sleepwalked into the exact same issue as last season fitness wise. We are a better side than last season though so that is good.
I still find it laughable that the 93:20 pod claimed we had the strongest squad in the league!!

James and delap should have gone and Oliver was his usual shothouse.
On us foden was shockingly shite and we subbed the wrong midfielder, cherki was lethargic on and off the ball and slowed down play too much today.
On the goal, berny giving a stupid freekick, O'Reilly got caught out and dona possible should be stronger on the punch.

He shown his experience out of position he should have just put him into the stands.You can concede at anytime, one nil is NEVER enough to sit on.
The goal came from one of our "best defenders" getting skinned and allowing an unchallenged cross into the box.
