the issue for me is
i have a inkling that Ake will be sold this winter transfer window, he needs a regular minutes for WC and Stones most likely won't be extended, so there is chance that Reis might get a nod

I guess we prefer Reis starting every week instead of being a backup to Khusanov and Ake. We will have Alleyne in the backup role.

Why we put a clause in that we can recall him at anytime and we don’t? My guess is they don’t want to upset Girona and there fans! Madness we spend 30m to loan him but think he would of stayed if Stones was sold but he didn’t want to leave and who can blame him

Might be less about upsetting Girona and more about making sure they don't get relegated. Without Reis they'd be rock bottom of the league.

While not ideal, we could recall him to use this month and loan him back to Girona at the end of the window. Everton seem to be doing something with their player who hey recalled from Preston/another championship club due to their injuries/AFCON players

I'd imagine that's not allowed. Isn't there a limit on the number of clubs you can be registered to in a single season? I'm sure you can't just loan out and recall willy nilly, otherwise you could loan Haaland to whoever Arsenal were playing that week.

The limit is 2, and you can only recall in a transfer window I believe (at least in the major leagues). So nothing in the rules to stop us recalling Reis for January and then sending him back.

Definitely, whilst we have Ake and Stones here, they are taking up a squad space, wages and I cant imagine Pep would disrespect them by just putting them in the bomb squad.

I assume we are smart enough to have put something in the loan agreement that allows us to recall any player.
Echeverri, Simon Pusey and Alleyne have all been recalled so I'm guessing its the same for all of our loans.
