Shite. We're sat near the back of the Colin Bell stand and we could all see that that was a penalty. He was stood next to it. Fucking rubbish.Thomas. Bramall. Never heard of him and never want to see him again

And he couldn’t even see that penalty even though he was looking straight at it, decided to give a second chance not to give it and leave it to the VAR, who had no option.
Just winds our players up even more.

Aye, Im not a conspiracy theorist myself, and usually I think it is very biased against us but then we usually get something that convinces me otherwise, sometimes in the next game or the next few games. It evens itself out.
I am not seeing that yet and its been quite a few games where we have played against the refs decisions.
And then its not like its just the big calls, its loads of little things, the 50/50s that go against us more often than not, the crown jeering the ref and cheering when he finally gives us a decision, happens too much lately.
And then the fact that we're at home in some of these games, and the inherent bias that comes with the home crowd shouting demanding, its like they go against all of that even.
Something feels wrong imo. We will see if Pep or the club say anything though.

Not sure how that lunge went entirely unpunished. There was contact and it was extremely reckless, yet no action taken at all.
He's not the reason we didn't win, he was shit though.People blaming the ref tonight can do one, he was the least of our problems.

If he didn't give that penalty we'd never have scored. But how he didn't see that without the need for var is perplexing. Stevie Wonder would have had the whistle out before this joker.
A symptom of var, I would suggest. How many obvious offsides were left to run on because they've been told to keep their flags down? Players aren't stupid, then know they're off sometimes and they play for a corner instead.
Same with penalties. It's all "I won't give it because var has my back", which just breeds indecision, incompetence and damage lack of respect.

I sit in the north-east corner so didn't have a great view of the pen, but when they showed it after the decision it was so obvious that the clown must be totally incompetent or bent to not give it. Utterly criminal, and on a par with the one Alty tried not to give us at West Ham a few years ago.
