TV Series

Pluribus - 7/10. Think it's good, certainly a fascinating premise but can't see it ever becoming great.

Stranger Things - 9/10. The show had its ups and downs particularly through season 2-4 but I really enjoyed the last season and there's nowt wrong with an emotionally satisfying (mostly) happy ending.

The Titanic.
Became fascinated by this event years ago and then watched/read everything I could after the wreck was found in the 80s.

Didn't think this would tell me much more I didn't already know, but I was surprised. It really felt like I was there. Just goes to show the Beeb can still produce some quality. 9/10.
This the Drama type job? The titanic sinks tonight?

Watching Trespasses (C4). Brilliant so far after three episodes.
If you interested in the Troubles, I've just finished watching
"Once upon a time in Northern Ireland" is an excellent documentary from the BBC
Shows the history of the troubles through interviews of the people involved in both the IRA and UDA and victims families also with news reels of the time.
It really shows the hatred and barbarism between the factions

Yes I am. I was raised by an Irish catholic mum and an English protestant father. My grandma chased my dad from the house once in an argument about terrorism Vs freedom fighters ..

Just finished Down Cemetery Road (Apple), Emma Thomson, Ruth Wilson and Adeel Akhtar, with Fehinti Balogun as the most dead eyed assassin since "Ghost Dog" back in the 90's (good film if you haven't seen it).

Overall a good watch with a few twists, but Adeel Akhtars character was a poor fit for me.

Just started S2 of "Patience". Enjoyed S1 but the first episode suggests it may follow the same back story arc which would be disappointing. Will continue as Ella Maisy Purvis is easy on the eye and it's worth watching for the insight into autistic people dealing with the neuro normal world
