I was still living in Cornwall.Yeh I think he did mate yeh, still remember my late dad telling me about the semi-final in ‘74, burnley battered newcastle by all accounts? Apart from “super Mac” scoring twice :)
Absolutely fantastic to watch a stress free game and some academy lads starting and playing well. Rodri scoring is a bonus and Semenyo too, who looked like he'd been here for years. Made up for McAidoo scoring too, nice watching him celebrate with his family.
The one downer was Haalands performance which was pretty awful. Not sure if he's carrying an injury or not but he was very poor.
Very good.Shame they scored really because the social media boys could have posted a picture of Bernie and captioned it "The Captain and Ten Nil".
We sure would haveBut we'd have lost....
Absolutely! This was a statement win, how often does a team get 10 against lower league opposition in any cup competition? Macc are in the 6th tier and just put Palace out, these matches are rarely a walkover.Look lads as my user description suggests I am from Bolton and follow both. 28 days ago I watched Bolton win a very hard fought game at what I still call the Reebok. Exeter were decent. This is a really professional performance and good that some of our lads got their goal eye in!
Considering they average 6432 at home I would imagine a fair fewWe're sooooo disrespectful
Fuck 'em.... 7,500 singing their pathetic little songs about our support when probably half of them haven't been to an Exeter match all season
Just jealousy isn't it. They would be criticising us and telling us we're not that good if we'd have won 3-1 or something.Wtf is wrong with people, this from the bbc hys

Me too. It was my day off that day but we weren't playing that well and they were at or near the bottom of the table at the time so I envisaged a boring 0-0 or we would scrape home 1-0, so I decided to work overtime. That makes up for when I missed the Huddersfield 10-1.
History makers again.
Am still buzzing at seeing us score 10.
That was a league match wasn't it? I seem to remember we drew them in the cup a few weeks later and needed a couple of replays to get through.Sky Sports bang on with the ‘facts’ again…

"we rely on Haaland too much....."Expecting a short thread.
The bedwetters will have to keep their nappies on until tuesday.
"This is all on Pep!!!"
In all seriousness, great to see the academy lads playing so confidently,
and just what Semenyo needed on his debut.
Up the mighty blues.
And if we scored 11 we'd say it should have been 12.Fucking wankers. Needed a clean sheet there, a total lapse in concentration.
Or, well done young blues. A top performance because of the professionalism and desire to keep going. Lovely afternoon.
Should’ve been 11.
Mac at home next please.
