Seat Counters 25/26

At 38 minutes the cameras went round the ground and there were quite a lot of people going to the bar etc, but it looked like it was about 2 minutes before the final whistle.

It’s not wasted energy at all. Loads more kids could have attended today.

It’s clearly not just people not deciding to attend is it. Do you honestly think 4 rows of seats all together decided not to attend?

A lot of these empty seats are because they go to ticketing websites. Greyed out on the ticket planner as well, so it’s always ‘sold out’ or unavailable

Well the ticketing companies have bought them from city to sell they’ve done a bad job of it! It’s Man City’s fault doing that..

You know it’s tickets sold nought to do with empty seats! You can’t report sold out if it isn’t
He is right though. It’s very odd that, just by chance, totally at random, as many as a dozen seats all in one row or in chunks of rows setting out a nice square of seats in the stand, where people have just happened to not turn up for the same game.

I reckon they are third party ticket tout seats that City just include as being sold even if they don’t end up being.

The club can't win. They make today's game very affordable and sell out. 1000's don't go because they can't be arsed. If they'd charged £40 they'd be accused of pricing people out
I wasn't there today i did sell my ticket b4 you start and I was working,,but folk have said yet again there were "rows" empty that's not people not been arsed to go is it come on
That has to be on the club and how they are distributing tickets

Kids were ill, I would have happily transferred them but i simply have no idea how to do it anymore, I don't want to promise something to someone I cannot deliver

Spot on.

I've got mates who couldn't be arsed today despite being on the cup scheme and having an automatic ticket for £10

I've also got mates who followed City all over the country in the mid 80s when City were shite, but have since stopped attending and cite the price of tickets as the main reason

Sooner or later this price elasticity will be a major problem, not just at City, but for all PL clubs.

My two lads and a few mates couldn't be arsed. All on the cup scheme so cost them a tenner. It's not on the club. They made it cheap and people didn't go. Too many people making too many excuses.

Match was sold out

You're saying the club deliberately made tickets unavailable?
No im saying the club gives tickets to agency's as we all know they do,if them agency's don't sell them what happens im guessing the seats remain empty , the club are in effect ticket touting and has been going on now for a while surly you know that .
1 example you put your seat on the exchange (mine works out about £22 a game i think ssl3) club then puts the ticket back up for sale at 40 50 60.70 80, are you saying that's all ok and the club are doing nothing wrong .
I know all clubs are doing it, but it's fking wrong, if I decide to put "my" ticket on the exchange it should be sold for the same price they give me end of fkin story

It's all digital. City can sell tickets through agencies or through the club's ticket office. They dont need some runner taking a load of paper tickets to an agency. This idea that if City are selling tickets through an agency, they dont have any control of those tickets is just stupid.

No what im.saying is these agency's obviously buy these tickets from city at a price ,,,now if these agency's don't sell said tickets what happens to said tickets ,,,that's right they stay empty
This has to be the reason why there are so many seats (especially lately) and seats together remaing empty

Agree that people can't be arsed, but this isn't a reason not to price tickets cheap.

I really doubt they buy the tickets. City will sell through them and the agency will charge a commission. The tickets will be available through City or the agency until sold.

So out of interest how many are city taking to midweek league cup against Newcastle?,says sold out on the website
