Well all those reasons apply but they also do to the Geordie’s and we know they will sell thousands.
Think the club should be making better efforts to help sell more tickets/transport support etc

As we would have at the point in their development in challenging for trophies. Our fanbase has seen so many semi finals, many at Wembley, it’s difficult to keep stumping up the money/time.

Agree, £30 - £50 seems a lot ?
What were the prices for last night's game at St. James Park ?
The League Cup tickets were usually much cheaper than F.A. Cup ties.
Hopefully it will sell out though...

It is a lot. Particularly £17.50 for kids. Make it a a fiver ! I don’t know what they are thinking about at times.

There are 15000 tickets still to sell for this.

The second leg is not until 4 February. Tickets had to be put on sale before the first leg result was known to allow plenty of time for fans to purchase especially given all the other matches in January and February.

The cheapest prices for season ticket members on the League Cup scheme are £20 adults, £12.50 over 65 & 18-21, and £10 under 18.

Hopefully the message will get through to those setting ticket prices for general admission and hospitality that the tipping point has been reached.

We have seen some movement in downward prices and a price freezes. This needs to continue.

Because after all...you're my Alan Ball

I mean something similar to below , but an Oasis track, before the whistle as the players get ready for kick off or after the final whistle, whilst the players are celebrating after a win.

What we’ve got is a farty version of Blue Moon that lasts a minute or so.

We need a proper anthem.

Sunshine on the leith is a belter. Would have to be one of the slower Oasis songs.

I agree.

I know it’s a cliche, City and Oasis, but Oasis have numerous songs we could use as an anthem, like we have done after beating United at full-time. I appreciate Blue Moon is now a tradition at City, but it really is a poor anthem, especially the version that is used by the club.

Villa used to sing ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’. I don’t know if they sing it anymore.

It may be sacrilege but I think this is a great version of 'Don't Look Back in Anger':

He did a good version of 'Rocket Man' as well:

What about filling out the Haaland 'Stop Crying Your Heart Out' song?
