Since Atkinson they've only appointed 3 permanent managers with PL experience. His immediate successor did ok. Moyes and Mourinho a lot less so.

I say bring back Rangnick. He was the future.
The last manager we appointed with managerial experience in the Premier league was Mark Hughes. We've done ok

Ready for the latest turncoat moment

Neville " if Carrick win every game from now till the end of the season he still shouldnt get the job "

Now god forbid it happens do you really think he will keep the same stance ??????

And the managers he name that should go in :) honestly if your even half decent you wouldnt go anywhere near that club would you ???
How many decent managers have they had only to spit them out its a fooking right comedy club
This is true but it’s the easiest 10m you’ll
Ever earn in 12-18 months

How decades do we have to endure it though ............these are the only club throughout the history of football who are still making the headlines despite being shite for over a decade.
Did we have the same shite when the Liverpool empire came to an end in the early 90s ???
Did we have show after show of ex scouse players going on about it ???????

Its fooking over ffs and the general football fan is bored shitless of this merry go round

A Blast from the Past!!
" McKenzie!!"
Hutchinson looks sublime, some nice touches from Dave Bennett sporting a belting afro.. raw Power and pace of an 80s Derby from Maine Road.
Helen ringing her bell in the North Stand
Bobby Mac should have scored early on
Dennis tueart is sub warming up
Gerry Gow looks menacing.....but from the footage shown..it's all about the class of one Tommy Hutch.one of my fav players of all time. Loved this team .

One for the foc’s
Remember the Terry Waite joke?

Don’t like to criticise but the noise we made back then compared to now.
Some great games then. Three signings transformed the team Tommy Hutch, Gerry Gow and Bobby McDonald. The cup run in 81 was brilliant, or it was till that Ricky Villa goal which they still show every cup final day. I once met Paul Power and asked him how he felt when Tommy Hutch scored at the wrong end. He said how the fuck do you think I felt 10 minutes away from winning the fa cup. Stupid question really.

Mid season friendly. No rules being broken lets face it but this is not the act of a serious EPL club. You'd organise closed doors matches to get players back to fitness for sure but to openly raise revenue? This is a piss poor look even for them and the fact they have leaked it to the press to test public opinion tells you all you need to know about how messed up the finances really are.

Be interesting to see what the players reactions are and what's in the contracts. Can they be made to fly out for this proposed game during the season if they prefer to stay at home? Also what message does this say to the next anointed one who gets the job of managing this shit show, who on earth would go to an EPL club who would sacrifice player welfare over revenue? Signs of a sinking ship.
Who judges the financial going rate for said friendly

Penny finally dropping...

Especially true this year with a long season followed by a World Cup. Prices will escalate for players who show themselves, some will get injured and miss the pre-season and more, and some players’ stock will drop…not to mention business will be much harder to get done because players and their agents will not be allowed into camps!

This is one of the reasons I spoke about Anderson being a January purchase and loan back to Forest, in order to try to keep them in the PL, which should result in a £10M purchase price discount if he succeeds!!
