Poor performance ect. ,even worse and more telling was the non red card decision. Not for the result ,but clear and obvious how badly we have been reffed,.Taylor showing up what a weak man he is.

Absolute shambles of a performance.
I mean what did Haaland actually do?
Lewis nowhere near good enough.
The only positive, again, was Khusanov

Donnarumma did well enough, but overall we were poor from start to finish.

There is no one with the creative nous to play through balls. If you don't have that then it needs to come from crosses - we don't do that. Our set piece delivery from corners is an absolute disgrace.

We then have two wingers, but neither cross the ball. They had both full backs on early Yellow cards and we didn't exploit it.

We have someone who can take an amazing long throw which gets the ball into the danger area. We don't do that and our throw ins do have a bad habit of putting us under more pressure.

Embarrassing performance.
That back 4 today is a bottom 3 team standard at best but given the injuries it is what it is BUT our attacking play was yet again diabolical.
A striker who looks half arsed and has forgotten how to score with zero competition for his place. A slow midfield yet again struggling to cope with any opposition who can move.

Doku being Doku, just not good enough for a starting place, impact sub at best, Foden again living off his player of the year award.
We were lucky it was jusr 2. Could have easily been their own 6-1, well 6-0 as we never looked like scoring.

Set pieces again a total disgrace, how can the coaching team not see this.

If the title was not already gone, it is now. Start planning for next season and give youth a chance over anyone thsts not going to be here.

We play Semenyo on the right to accommodate Doku. It should be the other way round.

Ruined my weekend that.
What a shit show from start to finish. We didn't look prepared for that game at all. In what universe is starting two of our slowest players as fullbacks against a side that plays quickly on the break a good idea?
Once again the midfield was non existent and we never looked like scoring. Haaland is now like Samson in reverse, as his hair has gotten longer he has become weaker and weaker.
We were easily out fought, they clearly wanted he three points more than we did.
Our attack consisted of side to side and 8 passes later back to Donnaruma.
Oh and before I forget it was a red card but even playing against 10 they would have won.
Wrong team, wrong tactics (whatever they were) and little creativity or fight.

I think that was the worse performance i've seen.

Rico Lewis - if he continues to play games - we continue to deserve to lose...predicted in the pre match thread and nowhere for either goal. we needed 2 right backs in the summer - we still need 2 right backs now. I actually predicted the first goal how it would happen....when Lewis is on the pitch he steps into midfield....slwos everything down as he isnt good enough there and then cant recover....he was taken apart by utds right hand side from the first minute and again it was predictable

rodri - said in the summer we needed reinforcements in midfield and that we wouldnt see a fully fit Rodri for a year at least and possibly never again....we got Reijnders who looks fucking poor.

I said we needed at least two left backs....we got one who has looked bang average every time he steps on the pitch and have played a kid into almost exhaustion.

Semnyo - I like the signing but i also said at the time he will struggle - we saw that today....against a packed defense does he have the tools to play - we have to wait to see but today he didnt.

Haaland needs help - he is clearly knackered and potentially carrying an injury as he cant run or jump properly...but we have no one so again played into exhaustion.

Centre halfs - i said Ake and Stones were done....I was right - neither will play enough and when they do Ake is nowhere near able - he is one stretch away from another 3 months on the sideline and he plays like it. ...but yet again we were told by bigger blues that this was wrong

Bad day today but IMHO THIS is when fans need to get behind the team. Not ridicule & berate every player.

I just spoke to the Mrs about this and it made me reflect on just how bad that was. They had 3 marginal offside goals disallowed and god knows how many good chances and Donna Summer saves.

If we'd just lost 8-0 it would not have been inappropriate.

I don't remember a worse performance since Pep took over. Even getting battered by Leicester in his first season we looked like a decent side that got caught on the counter. Today we looked like relegation fodder in the Championship. Absolutely fucking awful. Terrible. Beyond words.

I’m not. He’s stepping into midflied and his only thought is sideways and backwards and lost the ball more times than I can count. That resulted in our forwards dropping deep to get the ball - it was wank. He is wank.

Lewis cannot play right back ever again. There's a lot of Lewis bashers around, and I've resisted, and maybe he has a future on midfield. But not here, and never again at right back.

As for the rest of the team. Where's the ffight? The desire? Won't win a Christmas Cracker with that attitude.

all those saying he is a future midfielder....Ill ask you......in place of who?

who is Rico Lewis a better midfielder than in the last 10 years at our club...barring Kalvin Phillips perhaps...

The worst derby performance for almost 20 years.

Not only the derby, this is the worst performance since Mancini came in, the level of cluelessness (is it a word?) have been astonishing. There were always some shortcomings here, injury there, games lost or drawn because of refs influences, tactical mistakes, but to play the whole 90+ minutes lik3 a relegation fodder with no clear plan or attempt to improve, change or rejig the formation, effort, FECKING anything!!!!!!!!

I've said some time ago, this team looks going nowhere and Pep won't be winning anything. And then the whole set of circumstances that placed so high up the table and January transfers, and reading some giddy posts here, caught me in this preposterous optimism.

But this is the new one, even for me where head always prevails over heart. I am actually properly disturbed, this is definitely not "caught on a bad day" only. It is not even 3pm, is too early for double Old fashioned which I am going to fix for myself! Fecking hell!!!!!!!!!!
