TBH he could have played against United - could not have been worse than most of the team who did.
or they wouldn't sign in the first place. Fine for 'insolent' players, but what about the ones we want to keep?Imagine a world where players and their agents would allow a “you cannot turn down a transfer” clause in their contracts!
All our misfits would be playing for Troyes or Montevideo City.
No player would sign a contract with that clause in it.or they wouldn't sign in the first place. Fine for 'insolent' players, but what about the ones we want to keep?
"Welcome to City Harry. Do you like French food by the way? I only ask, because big Khal just told me that our new DoF is Lavinda Past. And you know what he's like. His first order of business will be to sack that bald fraud Pep and bring in Colin Wanker. I've heard Colin thinks you're a bit pish, so under clause 83.1.1 of your contract we'll be fucking you off to Troyes as soon as the window opens.........now, just sign here....and here"No player would sign a contract with that clause in it.
Well, Harry Kane and his brother might.
Their wage cap is €5k a week."Welcome to City Harry. Do you like French food by the way? I only ask, because big Khal just told me that our new DoF is Lavinda Past. And you know what he's like. I’m not sure why people even try to impose their own personal views on the professional lives of others, especially when they have no real clue about the details of the situation.
He’s gone out on multiple loans. They were not successful. He went on tour with City and played. Didn’t change anything. What to do?
Not my problem. However, I’m not about to denigrate him or label him as an embarrassment to professional football.
If City can find a solution, find it. But, don’t expect a player exercising the ONE AND ONLY BIG CONTRACT OF HIS LIFE to simply walk away from it so a multi-billion pound organization can save a few quid…even if it is our beloved club.
Ben White hates football.Sorry that you have a problem of understanding, but I thought that professional footballers played football firstly because they loved playing football, and secondly because it gave them the opportunity to earn a very good salary.
I therefore was suggesting that because of the first element ie enjoying playing football, he would prefer to be playing rather than just training and not playing.
I didn't make any suggestion that he shouldn't follow whatever route he chooses to take.
Perhaps try reading and understanding before coming to the wrong conclusions and then being an opinionated prick .
Ben White hates football.
Assou-Ekotto too.
I’d even suggest Raheem Sterling doesn’t like it.
It’s a job first and foremost for footballers, not a privilege that fans believe it is.
It’s why we bond with the Zabaletas of the world. They 100% care and love football as much as we do.Well that's another myth dispelled and Me out in my place !

I can only speak for myself, but the magical life you and others seem to think it is, isn’t!Sorry that you have a problem of understanding, but I thought that professional footballers played football firstly because they loved playing football, and secondly because it gave them the opportunity to earn a very good salary.

Too few fans understand this fact.Ben White hates football.
Assou-Ekotto too.

Oh, I don’t know…you’re a big enough dick for it! ;/)I guess my ambition of being a porn star will have to go on the backburner .
True.Too few fans understand this fact.
Yet, everyone knows a professional in another profession who would much prefer to do something else.
Strange that people think it’s still shirts and skins with sweater goal posts!
I know more than my share and almost to a man, they would have preferred to be some other kind of professional and had a lifetime of enjoyment, a life away from the job (being a footballer is a 24/7/300 job, and the other 65 aren’t all your own!), and the ability to retire comfortably.True.
Footballers probably spend 95% of their lives in pain too.
For every VAR decision missed, they’re been trodden on, scratched, kicked etc.
Look at Van Hecke vs Haaland or Tonali vs Bernardo. Nasty shit happens all the time without it being red card worthy.
Even Slabhead got a new kneecap tattoo from Erling at the weekend.
Kalvin ?Some lads in my office play 5 a side somewhere near media city every Thursday. No guarantees of playing a certain position but everyone gets a chance to play some minutes regardless of their ability level.
Perfect chance for Kevin to dip his toes in the water again, make a fresh start and lose a bit of weight while he’s at it.
Partly that and partly under instruction to keep him away from playing in case he gets injured again and just by stepping foot on the team bus we will have to pay him more which I’m sure we are keen to not doSurely he could be doing a job for us atm as he isn’t that bad but does pep just not trust him at all ?
