Him in the squad is worse than playing with 10 men.

With 10men others try to cover, but with him on the field, he makes our players assume he can handle the opponents but clearly cant - see the rags second goal

I’ll tell you what mate, his lack of movement, awareness and strength are a catalyst for a sequence we previously experienced last time he had a run in the side.. and guess what.. it’s happening again.
 
Said this before that I am sure he is a really nice guy but if you asked any fan what’s his best position in a starting 11 everyone would struggle. He certainly isn’t a full back whether inverted or traditional, he isn’t a CDM or AM and he isn’t a wing back. He will have a great career as a footballer but currently I can’t see it being at City. But that doesn’t mean we should be abusing him at every opportunity.
 
Not even a utility player at this rate. You guys overrated him at the start of last season.

But... but... he can play in 10 different positions.
 
Really dont like giving players stick , especially our academy players , but have to reiterate this lad isnt anywhere near good enough , he's a trier , no doubt , just falls short every time he pulls a blue shirt on ( and any of the other many colours we play in :)
 
Did he fail to pick someone up in the back post? No. Did he lose the ball in a dangerous area? No. Did he take 2 dumb yellows in 1 minute? No. Did he struggle to make a simple pass? No. Did he miss a simple striker's opportunity? Fail fo control and dispose of a ball? No... What are we talking about here?


Im struggling to understand why his thread is trending. If i want to talk about players who weren't good enough today , this will be one of the wrong threads

Most were bad but anyway you try and dress it up that was a really bad performance from Rico. He didn't win his battles, was more content to play so high up with no regard to the space behind which they exploited. He lost possession on 4 occasions that led to fast counters and was the last City player to get back. It spoke volumes that with 10 mins left Bodo players didn't even step up to him when he was on the ball as they knew he wouldn't hurt them. In his preferred position it was a disaster. Hate pointing that out but this guy above all others has had so many chances to prove he deserves his spot in the team. I can safely say him being in the side has resulted in possibly our two worst performances this year. We could have lost both games by a score of more than 5 and that for us is just not good enough.

he could have scored our only goal himself from 40 yards out, but we still lost 3-1.
 
He’s not good enough and watching him second half throwing his arms around about others just made me laugh! He’s fucking shit and right back and even worse in midfield!!!!! Get him gone
