Don't mind the team

Haaland needs a game out. I believe he just needs a reset and rest and he'll be fine. Annoys me we started him vs Exeter when he should've probably been at home.

Glad Phil isn't starting. No idea why he's been struggling for 18 months now apart from a couple of little spells. Problem with Phil is I think having him on the bench for a while could shatter his confidence even more rather than make him more hungry, which it will with Haaland.

Haaland is ready from the bench, and if he doesn’t score off the bench, that’s where he will stay. I like it. It forces him to get into form otherwise he won’t play, it’s what we need - a strong, competitive squad just like Arsenal. C’MON CITY!!

Donnarumma is a CL winner, Nunes Rodri Bernardo all PL winners (Rodri and Bernardo CL winner too) Guehi an FA Cup winner. All full internationals.

Starting eleven is not too bad. It’s good to see Pep making the (correct) big decision to bench Foden and Haaland. The midfield still bothers me. We have Rodri but Reijnders, Cherki and Bernardo aren’t good at tackling and breaking up opposition attacks. Our midfield has been overrun so many times recently leaving the back four and keeper exposed.

For Christs sake, Wolves have 8 points all season. The idea that they would overrun our midfield is frankly ludicrous. We beat this same team in a canter first game of the season with no pre-season and they made Reijnders look like a cross between KDB and Aguero. They are slightly more solid of late but the table doesn't lie

Poor but honest, in fairness. I've always had more time for those lads (God knows, we saw enough of them) than the 'good but can't be arsed half the time' boys.
Jamie P's son plays for Watford these days. No idea if he is er, blessed with the same skillset.
