For Christs sake, Wolves have 8 points all season. The idea that they would overrun our midfield is frankly ludicrous. We beat this same team in a canter first game of the season with no pre-season and they made Reijnders look like a cross between KDB and Aguero. They are slightly more solid of late but the table doesn't lie
Never be complacent though. Thats the killer. :-)

Haaland is ready from the bench, and if he doesn’t score off the bench, that’s where he will stay. I like it. It forces him to get into form otherwise he won’t play, it’s what we need - a strong, competitive squad just like Arsenal. C’MON CITY!!

How can he get into form by staying on the bench if he doesn't score?

Some would argue a game like this might be a good game for him to get back scoring.

That said, I'm ok with him on the bench today. He's clearly in need of a rest. He'll be ok, his elite mentally will get him back scoring. All strikers go through a rough patch now and again.

It’s been like playing with 10 recently. If Earl don’t score he has not offered much else.
He will be back
But having 10 outfield players again will be a luxury

lets eee if Reijnders can replicate his debut.....we need him to start showing up - he is the only doubt in that starting 11

Rest of the team is fine

Haaland and Foden need a break that is for sure

Great to see Guehi alongside Khusonov..thats a very physical pair of centre halves now and with NOR at left back as well..

Bernardo has to start at present or Rodri gets no help

The Boys in Blue never give in. They fight to the end. Come on City, come on City. Show ‘em lads, show ‘em all.
Especially that lot pretending to be Wolves. Ha, we are City and better than Wolves any day!

Especially the alleged media types who wouldn’t know a table tennis ball from a football if it hit them between the eyes! The bunch of over rated, over hyped addle pated fustilarians need to be ignored.

Especially the Specsavers needing lot who call themselves officials. Yes official whiffle whaffle lubberworts who wouldn’t understand any rules as they can’t read them!! Do they not know who we are? We are MANCHESTER CITY THE BEST TEAM IN THE LAND AND ALL THE WORLD !!

Come on City Come on City.
Fu'stilarian. n.s. [from fusty.] A low fellow; a stinkard; a scoundrel. A word used by Shakespeare only. Away, you scullion, you rampallian, you fustilarian: I'll tickle your catastrophe.

Hope you are well, Eccles?

Because when he does get a chance off the bench, he’s got to take his chances.
For me, his performance against Brighton with those two missed chances just wasn’t good enough. We need more from him. Being on ghe bench, tells not only him but the whole squad, nobody is unbenchable.

I don't think it will be as easy as people think. If we score first and the second maybe wolves will collapse and we can hammer them. But we have 1 relatively inexperienced CB and one who is completely new to the team and positions he needs to take up.

Just don't think it will be an easy 5-0.
Can’t see us beaten any team 5/0 with our recent performances

I imagine more of the same we have seen the last few weeks.

All huff and puff with Wolves scoring the inevitable first goal.

How we will respond i have no idea.

If this doesn't kick Erl up the arse, wipe the pout off his mug and push him, I think we have issues.

Pep thought that against Exeter and he was awful and hooked st halftime.

we tried getting him back to form against exeter and it didnt work.

fundamentally players need dropping when they play shit

Interesting to see the same levels of bravado on here as before the Bodo match. Wolves have been better (less worse?) of late and could make it difficult for us if we are not on our game.
Glad to see Foden and Erling "rested". Gives Marmoush a chance to show what he can do, which will hopefully be impressive.
Longer this game goes on and its level, the more potential there is for something unpleasant to happen.
Score early doors and we should win at a canter.

This prick Danny telling people on the concourse to get in their seats to support the team when he spent the last league match locked in a box, wanker
