Almost as if Pep doesn’t give a shit about press conferences.
didn't.. pep literally say otherwise?View attachment 181751
Hopefully sub against Galatasaray and more min against Spurs. Could see Pep starting him on Wed though. Not sure how to embed a tweet.
got to remember pep doesnt rate him and wants ridIt’s funny that people were rightly crying out for Rodri to recover, and even more so after his setback, but then people began being more positive about Nico. In fact, as Rodri returned, they were hoping he would be paired with Nico, because even Rodri himself was struggling given the team around him.
As we have looked increasingly fragile, almost to a person, we have exhorted how, in some games, we need Nico alongside an improving Rodri.
However, because Pep hasn’t come out and said he has a calf injury which he’s struggling to shake off (which they are), punters come out of the woodwork and call him a soft arse!
It beggars belief, especially given we have about 9 sick notes in the squad, yet he’s getting targeted!
According to who.got to remember pep doesnt rate him and wants rid
read back in this thread the experts on bluemoonAccording to who.
It obviously isn’t, given that he’s never given much info about shorter term injuries.Maybe he doesn’t but part of his 15 million quid a year salary is to communicate to fans. Providing injury updates, is part of that
What experts.:-) on a serious he's a good player who has pulled us out of the shit this season and he will get better.read back in this thread the experts on bluemoon
he's a bit shit
He also said nunes was likely out against wolves then he was in the starting lineup.didn't.. pep literally say otherwise?
Look at the duel winning and tell me we don’t miss that
That Liverpool game is probably his best performance for us all season, and where I finally thought "Ah I think he gets how to play the 6 role now".He was outstanding against the scousers. He had a couple of mediocre games after he had played without test for 3 months and certain folks forget what he did for most of the season
Agree - although he had a brilliant long pass to O'Reilly to set up Doku's goal. I have watched that move about 30 times lolThat Liverpool game is probably his best performance for us all season, and where I finally thought "Ah I think he gets how to play the 6 role now".
He won the ball back so many times and perfectly lynched with the CBs on where to place to receive and pass the ball quickly.
I think the only thing Nico G needs to truly improve on is his long passing, in terms of doing more and being more accurate.
Everything else for a DM, he has atleast great and of course any more improvements are still welcome, but those pinged passes that Rodri does is his next level.
Couldn’t agree more.Came on messed up instantly, didn't help to defend, gave the ball away going forward & got booked.
