Why did MC11 leave only 20mins post match ?. All other buses still there leaving my son and daughter high and dry and now walking in to Manchester to get bus home. They had return tickets.

Can anyone provide info about the Middleton bus. i intend to get this on Wednesday - pick up points, timetable etc. cant find link to info. Thanks in advance

@matchdaybus I’ve been tasked with asking a question, on Saturday the mc13 bus was rammed even people standing upstairs, some wanted to get on the mc14 to take make the return journey back to Royton/shaw as it had loads of seats, the driver on mc14 said they’d have to pay for the return journey again even though they’d already paid for a return on mc13. Is there anyway to make the ticket transferrable?

Looks like they've changed the departure time from 25 to 20 mins after full time on the tfgm page https://tfgm.com/man-city/bus-network/match-day-bus-11
It was definitely 25 mins on Saturday. When they finally got home, it transpired they got to the bus stop at 12 mins past 5. The BBC website gave the full time as 17:56. So, it left even earlier than I thought, a mere 16 mins after the match ending. All the other buses were still there.

@matchdaybus

Are you considering the network capacity during the period:
  • Saturday 14 February – Sunday 22 February
when Manchester Picc. station will be closed to trains from the South?

A number of people will be transferring from the train to MC7 during this period, and no doubt on other routes as well.

It seems very short notice to me. Perhaps it has been scheduled for a while but I have only just heard about it.
Hi, Sorry for the delay on getting back to you, I wanted to gather some info for you.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to enhance the capacity of the Matchday buses during the planned engineering works at Piccadilly Station, impacting the fixtures against Salford and Newcastle.

TfGM has been working closely with Network Rail to ensure that adequate mitigations are in place for customers and supporters. This includes ticket acceptance on Bee Network buses and trams as an alternative option, along with Rail Replacement Buses.

For ease, TfGM has created a dedicated page that provides clarity on the available options. Additionally, we have collaborated with Manchester City, and they will be making supporters aware of the disruption and mitigation measures in their "know before you go" emails.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Hello, MC11 reached full capacity so left a few minutes early, apologies for this. I know I have spoken to you via email on this but for everyone else on the forum that uses this service, if you use MC11 to get to the A580 P&R post match please could you consider using MC17 instead. MC11 is consistently very busy, while MC17 has much lower passenger numbers. Shifting to MC17 will help free up space on MC11 for those who need the other stops, and should also give you a more comfortable journey home.

Yes, I will pick this up with them and tell them to allow it. Apologies the driver didn't allow this. I will get onto them now.

Is there any chance of this service going as far as Warrington?
I have put this suggestion forward a few times but the demand has been to low for the distance. You could always try getting local supporter clubs to gather interest and if the numbers were reasonable, I could try and push it again for you! :)
