The Club Press rep is an absolute disgrace. Offers no support to Pep. And also, this infuriates me EVERY time, Press person tells the vermin fanboy 'writers' to say their name before questions. Not a one do. This club PR person should be telling them no questions answered until they have the manners to introduce themselves. And whilst I am on one, the level of disrespect towards Pep from these amoebas is astounding. Every other Pl manager gets treated sycophantically by press leeches and yet, not a single one of them have achieved, or will ever achieve what Pep has in their managerial careers.

I can't abide those press feckers. CITy should stop their hospitality grub citing reasons of a cost cutting exercise to pay for the 115 guilty charges that all the press are desperate to report on.
Totally agree. We should instruct the press that Pep will only answer questions about the upcoming match. No 115, no questions on his views about referees decisions etc. Our press officer should intervene if a question is outside this scope and just say next question to another reporter! Take control and show us that you can do what you are getting paid for!

I actually think the media are altogether behind the same push of trying to get Pep to crack and walk.
Webb and his little army are trying it with him in almost every game we've played in the last few weeks and the media seem to be goading him about it.
The longer the verdict takes the more these cunts are attacking us.
Just wish Pep had more club protection in these pressers because he looked to be fuming today with the prick going on about Pep's 'words' about Saturday's ref
The whole pre and post match by managers is a media creation set up to create content . The media knows they get more engagement with personalities and controversy and the clubs signed up often throwing their managers to the wolves when they've lost a few games and are thinking of getting rid ( Conte, Tuchul, Potter ) . It's like watching the beheading of a king .

Some managers love it and become media darlings ( Klippity Klop , Sean Dyche, Harry Redknapp ) some play with it having studied it from the sidelines (Mourhino ) some intimidate( Pisscan) but most crumble when the going gets tough . In his final year Klopp looked and spoke like a broken man , baseball cap blocking eye contact , and this despite the fawning questions .

As for Pep I simply don't know his he keeps a lid on it . Ten years of unmatched success and single handedly changing the way football is played and the lack of respect is off the scale . None of them deserve to lick his boots .

But to your point about trying to get him to crack ....it's probably true but not a chance of it working. Pep is using the platform , like many before him to galvanised the team . He knows what he is doing .

If they understood Pep they’d know the harder they try to push him out the deeper he digs his feet in. Hes a stubborn fucker, our stubborn fucker & these cunts are doing us the biggest favour by trying to drive him away.

Lol breakfast news sport on BBC interviewing Mctominay asking him about Carrick's start ffs. Then showed a clip of him playing for a boys team in Newcastle or somewhere up there. No bias at all from that shite of an organisation
Keeping the scum relevant on a champions league night which they're not involved in.

BBC article today wondering how Newcastle can “cure travel sickness”.

Not one on how the current European Champions could put them out.

You have to laugh. (I’ve Nothing against Newcastle)

Think he handles the wankers pretty well given some twats like Ducker and Jackson dont or wont understand the responses.
Considering his lack of man management skills and he hasnt spoke to the playets one on one for years hes done pretty well.
Now ask him about tactics like the foreign journos did yesterday ,his face lights up.

We should employ that Karoline Leavitt as press secretary / rep

I'm not praising or defending her in any way, but she has certainly got her orange boss' back and she doesn't take any shit

If you landed from another planet with the sole intention of learning about PL football you'd think that utd were the most successful club at the moment and all was doom and gloom at City, then you'd look at the league tables and trophies for the last 12 years and think Earth is a rather silly place after all and never come back.

it'll be the the greatest day in football when he calls it a day

City’s media team is awful or at least those who could be stepping in when pep gets asked pathetic rubbish or stuff trying to shit stir,I miss Gary Cook for this sort of stuff were he’d be banging the table and giving it back to the cnuts ..

They’ve tried it’s pep who always say fine I’ll answer! Weird Bacon treated the media with disdain and they sucked him off! pep answers all there questions Man City treat them so well..

That night at Brighton, I remember it vividly. Until the FA Cup debacle last year, that Twatwell performance was, imo the most blatant example of biased and corrupt reffing I had seen. At that point we HAD won the league, but if we had needed points we would have been shafted.

I am so glad Pep has now started calling this out.
Attwell can’t be trusted. He has been involved in some of the most bent decisions I have ever seen at a football match. I don’t believe he is just incompetent. I don’t think Pep and the players do either. They can smell it. The Rashford “offside” happened in plain sight. Not a single United fan in that ground thought it was a goal.

Do you not realize the consequences of them doing such a thing?

If they stepped in to stop a question then this would be used by them to imply that City being "state owned" they are the evil state, stopping free speech

The media twist what is said to suit their agenda its easy to just leave a word out and get a tally different context, and that is then repeated on social media thousands of time, by then the danger is done.

Pep has rarely spoken about the officials until after the Newcastle game when he spoke out, he was criticized for how he shook the refs hand on Saturday and now according to social media he is always moaning about refs and he was out of order for daring to not bow to a ref just because it was his first PL game.

The "media team" are not awful as you suggest as I wager you don't know what they do, day to day

Garry Cook was a disaster for the club in the media he was out of his depth
