What you don't see from those images is the quality of the whipped balls in. Else every team would do it. They can't because they don't get the quality of delivery into the box.
That post is embarrassing. Excuse the rugby scrums because a player that cost £100m can cross a stationary ball into a six yard box.

They foul the keeper and other defenders every single time. No action from refs at all. Every team does not do it. Neither does every team fake injuries and dive. Not seen it from City, United, even Liverpool since Slot stopped Salah diving. Villa don’t do it either. Not all players are cheats. It’s a fake narrative by Arteta. Arsenal are anti-football. Under Wenger they played stylishly. Your clubs reputation has slumped since then.

Hilarious how folk are mocking a team that is 8 from 8 in the Champions League, 4 points clear at the top of the PL, about to go into the EFL Cup final and is into the 4th round of the FA Cup.

'Oh but the PL is weak this year'.

'Oh but the CL is weak this year'.

Lucky that eh? Of course when City win trophies the league happens to be 'strong' I suppose!!!

Yes or no. Do you think we have had the recognition for what we have achieved? Yes or no.

You won't win anything this year.

OK I'll counter that by saying we'll win at least one trophy. Loser puts a tenner in a charity fund we both agree on, as it's a City forum perhaps you can suggest one that the club supports.

You’re on a rival fans’ forum. You’ve got to expect some banter and blow back.

Having seen the Benfica keeper score from a set piece last night, Mikel Arteta immediately put in a £100m bid for him.

Most of the derision is based upon how Arsenal play the game. I cannot think of any more tedious and unwatchable team that has topped the league. Klopp's dipper teams were exciting to watch for the neutral and even Leicester had some excellent play from the likes of Vardy and Mahrez.

Goerge Graham's Arsenal teams were very functional but had some redeeming players like Rocastle. Arteta has outdone previous managers by acheiving peak "Boring Arsenal".

I think to a degree yes. But it's nuanced. For example that treble side should have been lauded more.

But you've got to remember the press is aimed at getting clicks hence articles tailored to United, Liverpool, Arsenal fans etc.

To be honest I've said it all season. The football across Europe has declined in the last 3 years, 23/24, 24/25 and 25/26 have been poor seasons for the football being played.

The PL isn't great and it's easily the best league in Europe. I think the current 'meta' in football has football on the decline.

The teams in the middle are better but the teams at the top are shite in comparison to where they were.

Ok so do you think City's Agueroooooo side would beat the current Arsenal team to the title? I think that City side would get nowhere near Arsenal so I don't think teams have gotten universally worse over time. Same with the Leicester side and some of the Rags title winning teams, including their treble side. Obviously the Centurions would piss the league though.

Yes I think that side would beat Arsenal to the title. That side could keep the ball better and create better chances than most of the teams in this league, including our current side and they are 2nd just 4 points off of the top.

Liverpool and City of 2017-2023 (give or take the odd year off for Liverpool) would wipe the floor with the current state of the league.

In the last 3 years the only teams at the very top across Europe which have gotten better are Arsenal and PSG. The rest are significantly worse or about the same.

No where near? They finished with 89 points. Your unbeaten side finished with 91.

Aguero, David Silva, Yaya Toure, Kompany, Tevez (do you have any players on this level?) were all world class players and City even had other strikers in reserve such as Balotelli & Dzeko who were both better than your £80m forward.

Ok I'll bite. From that list Aguero gets into the current Gunners side. Tevez does but we wouldn't play him and Aguero together. Silva does. Toure absolutely doesn't get in ahead of Rice IMHO. Kompany over Saliba or Gabriel is a coin flip thing.
