Always hate this fixture, these twats just save their performance of the season for us most years.

That dodgy home record they’ve got, plus a manager under pressure means nothing, it’ll be their cup final like every season.

The best way to beat these is show no mercy, just go at them from the first whistle, in their faces, fly into tackles and close down, and above all, get the ball forward as often as possible. No half arsed slow passing around letting them close down the likes of Khusanov and O’Reilly.

Smash into them then lump it forward to Haaland and Cherki and Semenyo.

Sadly, I think Pep just plays the perfect system for Frank to deal with and overcome. He's struggling so much at home for Spurs this season because at home they're expected to have the ball and find patterns through deep defences, which is something Frank's no good at working out. He didn't have to be any good at it at Brentford because nobody paid attention to their games outside of the 12 times per season they played one of the big six, and teams rarely parked the bus against them at the G-Tech. But eyes are on his Spurs teams every week and teams will happily sit deep to stifle a big club in a way they'd maybe try to attack Brentford instead. If we go there and approach it like the Arsenal game, or the Liverpool and United games, we'll do a proper job on them and run out 2-0 winners. If we go there and try to "control" it with slow possession football we'll be on the receiving end of the same result we had against them earlier this season. Pep needs to be brave in this one like he was against Arsenal - the chances will come, the spaces will open up, we will be able to control the game without the ball. Spurs might be shit at home this season but they're good away from home, and if we set up on the edge of their box trying to thread it through the eye of a needle Frank will approach it like an away game and get the kind of result he always bags at the Etihad.

Look forward to another case of playing exactly how the opposition want us to play. We'll look amateurish in transition again. Result will all be down to whether we can create and finish enough and whether the defence can essentially have a perfect game with a generous combination of poor finishing from them.

Have to feel this is the last chance to genuine mount some pressure on Arsenal, we've let them off 4 times already, will we get another chance if we blow it here and at Anfield?

Donnarumma
Nunes
Khusanov
Guehi
Ait-nouri
Rodri
Bernardo
Reijnders
Semenyo
Marmoush
Haaland

Assuming Doku is out and no other changes in availability. Reijnders for cherki based on his running ability and cherki not putting in the work away from home, he's better option off the bench away right now. Ait-nouri over Nico O'Reilly just to try and get Ait-nouri up and running and Nico can then be an option in multiple positions from the bench.

I seem to recall City winning as many matches as they lost, away to Tottenham, over the last 15 years including a couple of 5-1 victories. City won there last season and twice the season before.

Dear Pep,
Could we please start with that 442 formation we had last night, where the team in the first half attacked in waves of beautiful fast and attractive football. ? Please..

Agree with the above team. I’ve gone draw as I did on Saturday and tonight and we won both 2-0, so hoping for same again.
I have gone win, not out of confidence but this is must win territory for me. The annual nightmare in dipperland is a loss for me and we can only afford one more league defeat realistically to maintain a challenge. Three points here and the Liverpool game is a kind of free shot. That awful performance in August will hopefully be amended on Sunday and we move onto the bar codes in good spirits.

Any Spurs fan who cheers a Tottenham goal this weekend is effectively cheering for an Arsenal title.

We should have 60k supporters in the stadium for This match
Well they didn't really bother too much a couple of seasons ago in that situation but they won't throw this game. We need to be on it to claim the points on Sunday.

Just be 4-0 up by half time because we know they'll turn to shit in the second half.
