45 | Abdukodir Khusanov - 2025/26

There's room for everyone (Gvardiol, Khusanov, Guehi, Dias, and Reis next season). The mistake made in the first six months of this season was playing the Dias-Gvardiol duo too much, when we could have rotated Khusanov and even Aké in manageable matches.

City plays around sixty matches each season and aims to win all four trophies, so the wisest approach is for no player to play more than 40 matches to avoid muscle injuries and exhaustion in March, April, and May—the final stretch, the period when trophies are won.

Playing one match and then resting for 7 to 10 days is the ideal we should strive for with each of our players.

they use the "Shakey start" because they are lazy if they had done their homework they would see a speed merchant made from iron, defensively brilliant, of course he will make mistakes however he looks the sort that if he makes a mistake he wont make it again .
Indeed. He had 15 dodgy minutes in his debut. Since then he's done really well.

Some genuinely hate City, some moderately dislike us, some are indifferent and some actually might like us personally, but they all know they get clicks and views for slagging City off.

Perfect recent example was Michael Vaughan in the Telegraph, he was pleading for support for his club, Sheffield Wednesday. The headline he chose was something like “help save Sheffield Wednesday, we have more fans than Man City”.

An utterly bizarre thing to say and actually objectively untrue. I’ve met the man several times and know for the fact he likes us more than Utd, I’ve heard him speak at a dinner and him have a pop at Utd fans and ask if there were any City fans in the building, then say “you lot are alright”.

He’s used us there because he knows the mass of red plastics around the UK will click.

It’s as simple as that and we’ll never change it.
That bloke is still a two-faced ****.

Whisper it quietly, but in a couple of years I think we could have the best set of defenders in World football

He is brilliant. That jet-heeled pace, tenacity, strength and decent reading of the game as well as his ability on the ball which is improving with confidence omake him a top player already.

@Dax777 brain is fried and non functional apparently.

Here's the event:

45 seconds in.

Seems clear as day Akanji is running to deal with it but then stops abruptly and leaves Khusanov to deal with it alone while he's wrong footed and going the wrong way.

Then he just stands there while at least Khusanov rushes back to TRY AND BLOCK THE SHOT.

So much for being a good defender that's getting the job done. Akanji had some good games, but this is one of the bad ones.

Clearly Akanji's fuck up.
No if's, ands or buts about it!

No homework required when you’re just playing to the masses and printing/typing what they want to read.I’m sure you know the score by now..
