Piccadilly train station closed the day of the Newcastle league game , happy days !!!
It was selected for 12:30 with the caveat that has now kicked in, understand the frustration though. It causes even more problems because some people plan things in advance, like booking trains, flights, hotels etcetera. It's already been selected for tv and an early kick off so people don't expect it to be changed again unless weather cancels it. Tough on Newcastle but shit happens, we've suffered ourselves, it should have remained at 12:30.
Correct. Moved because we had the Super Cup on the previous Wednesday. That’s the only previous one we’ve had home or away.Think we’ve only played one at home before against Newcastle at the start of the 23/24 season, once every couple of seasons isn’t too much of an imposition but understand it causes problems for some supporters.
It was always stated on club website the ko could change. Pain in arse for those who’ve bought train / plane / hotels but the club gave everyone advance notice. It causes even more problems because some people plan things in advance, like booking trains, flights, hotels etcetera. Same here , plus no trains into Manchester Piccadilly ffsFFS, another game I can't get home from without booking a fucking hotel.....
More important than watching City?Me too. Got plans I can’t get out of on the Saturday night.
To me, no. But to others, yes. And sometimes you have to put others first.More important than watching City?
Is that true? I thought platforms 13 and 14 were still operational?Piccadilly train station closed the day of the Newcastle league game , happy days !!!
Correct, but with limited services only.Is that true? I thought platforms 13 and 14 were still operational?
Yeah, tbf, probably means diddly squat running after 10.30pm …Correct, but with limited services only.
Never! City first, second, infinity!!To me, no. But to others, yes. And sometimes you have to put others first.
Certainly better for the home team than 12.30pmBrilliant news if true. 12:30 is shite. 8 o clock it’ll be rocking. Watch the earlier games in boozer then head to the match. No work following day. Perfect.
The 192Yeah, tbf, probably means diddly squat running after 10.30pm …
J.Arthur Rank Organization ??
We can't do what Arsenal or Chelsea are planning because Palace (who we're scheduled to play on the weekend of the final) have got Conference League playoff round games on 19th and 26th February.Quite confusing or uncertain the permutations of match amendments. For the carabao cup the winner of Arsenal or Chelsea will bring forward their league game by a month affected by the final to 18th Feb. No decision for us or Newcastle on how that may affect either side the scheduled league match.
West Ham away is either a 12.30 or 8pm dependent again on outcomes of other matches.
The One & OnlyThe 192
That fixture is the weekend of the Carabao Cup Final, so if we beat Newcastle next Wednesday ( aggregate score over 2 legs) ,we will be playing at Wembley on Sunday 22nd).When will palace at home be confirmed?
