Seemingly on his way to Leicester on loan, or as Romano puts it, "initial loan". New contract to be signed first.

Will be good for the lad. My opinion of him is based purely on the cup games I've seen him in, and the odd Premier League sub appearance. Not sure he has "it" but his stats at youth level are very good, so some first team football at a decent level will hopefully allow him to kick on a step or two.

Good move for him level / club wise, slightly worrying that he is going to a club with no manager.

You'd have to imagine we've got some assurances that he'll play, considering what's happened to Nypan. Leicester are in a pretty desperate state and just sacked their manager, so it could really go either way.

It is interesting that two of the brightest prospects are going out on loan in Mfuni and Mukasa. Perhaps a different direction for our younger players under Viana?

There will be no assurances.
Its a little luck and players performing.
Echeverri, Simpson Pusey and Nypan were probably more high profile and developed in their career and didn't get enough game time.

Bad move this Leicester going though a tough tough time!
Great move going to Leicester, going through a tough time.....too many academy players have it too easy, playing in good City youth teams, having it handed to them on a plate. Perfect to see what they can do, when there's some pressure. Just about sums up the 'entitled" mindset of most youths today......good luck to him, hope he shines and proves he has the mentality to make it.

Viana has said that one of his priorities is to promote the best of our academy into the first team.
These two are definitely two of the best.

At least we'll have a good idea how these young lads cope away from the comfort of our club and get some game time.
Mukasa, Heskey, Mubama, Simpson Pusey, Echrverri, Nypan, Mfuni amongst others will all have something to prove to Pep and gives us a chance to compare them.

Yeah that is a good point! It will either toughen him up or he falters and big set back..

Indeed, and I think it is also a recognition that these players are now too good for the EDS in terms of the level of competition. Getting regular football in our team when we have senior pros on long contracts is not an easy gig. They can spend two years developing and then return to compete for a place when they are 19-21, or they are sold for a higher price than they would have been had they stayed playing academy football.

Like thr idea of him going on loan for thr remainder of the season but not sure we want him at a side without a manager, what if the nee manager whoever that may be doesnt fancy him?

We really got to build some good relationships with championship clubs where we can trust them to develop these talents. Seems like a disproportionate amount of loans do not go well for us.

Seems a very strange move. Only watched a bit of Mukasa but looks like a 10, false 9 and more technical than physical. Would suit a manager wanting to play that way but normally clubs, in Leicesters position, go the other way and it’s more about backs to the wall type football.

I'd have tried to push him towards Watford if they need an attacker.
They did a good job for us with alleyne so would be good to do them a favour
