I'd have tried to push him towards Watford if they need an attacker.
They did a good job for us with alleyne so would be good to do them a favour
Probably best to have just one of our players on loan to one club at a time.
We gave them a replacement for Alleyne

good player but think championships/bottom half of prem will be his ultimate level

I’d have kept him around but once Savio and Doku are fit, along with Marmoush then there probably won’t be many opportunities here

But I like him, I hope this move works out. However, if not, it’s only a few months so not the end of the world. Particularly as he’s had first team games here already and is seemingly rated highly

It is interesting that two of the brightest prospects are going out on loan in Mfuni and Mukasa. Perhaps a different direction for our younger players under Viana?

Didn't Pique go on a loan to the Rags where he didn't impress, but he learned enough that he held down a spot in peak Barca when Pep turned to him?

He was a rags player and, similar to 90% of the La Masia graduates, used a different club for experience just to go back to Barca when he was ready. See Eric Garcia.

There are always standout stars in the academy, and he was one. Pretty much had the same impact as Nico and Palmer before him. Given he has 2 years on Nico he is worth being patient with. He does need to decide where he wants to play, though. Nico had to accept the fullback role for a while, knowing his real position is further forward. We are stacked with options in midfield if everyone is fit. Too many number 10's. He could stick around and take Rhinders role.

Or in time he might find out he simply fell into his real position by chance.

For me, Divine has anything but... maybe he'll come good, maybe not. But let's conduct this experiment when he plays for some other side.

Yes, saw Pique play for the Trafford Tramps' reserves, at Hyde United's ground.
He certainly didn't look Barca level.
Before I'm accused of treachery, they were playing Burnley reserves.
Our son's mate was playing for the Clarets, so were cheering him on.
The Reserves matches were always interesting, as you would often see first team players appearing, getting back to being match fit...

They signed him permanently and then he went back, like Eric Garcia
